Monday Jan 29,2024 It was a text call from ******** who is a sale representative of Homeinc. He took all the information about my home and why I was selling it.He tried to give me a quote right away, but I was not able to give an more time (almost a 45 minutes) to the conversation. I had other appointments that day which I asked if we could meet the following day to discuss the offer. He agreed which we set an appointment the next day for 10 am. Unfortunely, this is when the texts turned, and he started to tell me he did not have time and gave me another day to speak together. This goes on for four days which I waited for a text during the appointment time to speak to ******** about my home. This is a scam. I thought I had done my research and looked at everything. BUT ITS A SCAM....I am glad that I did NOT sign any papers with this company.SCAM SCAM SCAM.Do your homework before making a decision to sell your home.Business response

Thank you for the message. We understand that you are no longer interested in selling your home. While we have helped thousands of sellers throughout Florida and Georgia, we understand that there are many paths in which a seller can take. We have removed you from our contact list, and you should no longer receive marketing from us.

On April 19, 2023 I received mail advertisement for a business that wanted to purchase my home I reached out and proceeded to offered to sell for $65,600 which the gentle **** agreed and a contract was drawn ** in the mean time a gentleman called Stating he did not authorize that amount and he was not happy that *** agreed to pay that amount and assured me they did not want to pay that much. *** then sent out a gentleman to come and inspect and sent photos which the gentleman came but did not send him good video and he requested that I send and I did. A few day's later I received a text from *** stating that the owner did not want to buy at that price due to the extent of the sea wall condition and the amount to repair it I text *** stating that I would settle on $40k and he came back with $35k and sent over the addendum which I was under the impression that was going to be the new buying price how ever after the signing and proceeding to close the contract came back at the original amount of $65,550 and the $35,00 0 was deducted from the original price leaving a balance of $30,500 reducing our agreement of "$35,000. ************************ clear understand that I was under the assumption that the original contract would be rewriten to reflect the sale price to $35,000 not leaving it at $65,550 and giving repair credit. The house was sold at an as is home and the final sale amount was clearly $35,000 and he was aware of this as I have text proof that he was well aware of that shorting me out of almost $6,000 and now the property is listed as sold for $65,550 and a tax deed is written for $10.00 and was transferred to gentleman who had purchased tax certificates which I would have paid whether I sold or not. I had many questions regarding the contact and the numbers included into it and after trying to just push me through. I will forward our documents and copies of text messages and pertaining emails to the email address supplied below.Customer response

Attached is a screenshot of the original contract as well as the transaction cancellation the agreement of $35k was not agreed upon as a credit and ********** gave the impression that was correct and that was argued at closing but he didnt feel he needs to because the contract was signed and I asked for a new agreement and he indicated that a revised contract was sent. A screenshot is also available of that conversationBusiness response
