On 10-11-23 we signed a contract with Concrete Craft of Southwest ******* for the construction of our driveway and three small pieces of concrete with a 5-year warranty with an initial payment of $6170.00. A week later construction begins. On 10-25-23 the driveway was completed and the second (last) payment was made on the contract of $7,170.00. That day ******* told us that we could put the car in the garage. However, we did not drive on the driveway until 10-29-23. Initially, ******* was helpful and kind through the construction. On Wednesday 12-1-23 we noticed the driveway had a major crack. That day ******* put an end to his kindness. We contacted them four times. Twice by phone and twice directly to the office. Eventually we talked to ******* and I told him to please let the owner know about our situation. We never received answers. A fifth time, my wife gets on the phone with *******. Finally he shows up at the house on 11-28-23 with the news that "It is normal for concrete to split into two pieces." I asked about the warranty. I asked the owner to call us. We never had a response. We saw that they had blocked our electronic contract that we had signed. On 12-2-23 we left a message to the owner's office but never received a response.Business response

Our team has thoroughly reviewed the details of the project, and we assure you that we followed all customary practices, including compacting the earth, installing appropriate reinforcement, and incorporating saw cut joints in line with industry standards.
Concrete, by its nature, is susceptible to cracking. Even with the best practices in place, it is not realistic to expect a concrete structure to remain completely free of cracks. American Concrete Institute standards acknowledge this reality in their statement, "Even with the best floor designs and proper construction, it is unrealistic to expect completely crack- and curl-free floors."
