7/11/21-3/26/24, At move in, apartment was not ready, carpet dirty, gum on handrail and under bar, hole in kitchen sink, cabinet door broken, garbage disposal so loud, exposed wires where fixtures should be/capped; clearly they just wanted to get the apartment rented, even though it was not ready. We were charged a fee to swab our dog for DNA and The Springs never sent to Poo Prints, I called and they have no record of my pet and I was not issued a tag, dog f**** is never picked up. I spoke with ****** the mgr. and got the name of the Carpet Cleaner that they use (City of ****************** had them clean the carpet 5/23. I called the cleaning company for a letter stating that carpet was cleaned and paid for by me and owner said he does not keep records, NO RECORDS? SCAM! The Springs has since switched cleaning companies; go figure. I asked for copies of e-mails between me and complex and I get not response from the property. We moved out 2/2024, returned keys on 3/25/24. Never received US mail or e-mail until 4/9/24, just a bill stating charge for carpet replacement; no pictures or explanation; just bill. I sent a certified letter stating that we would not replace the carpet, office sent me pictures and the carpet looks better than it did when they rented to me. I asked to see the damage and they (e-mail not signed) said they disposed of the carpet. There was no damage when I moved out, I would never damage something and not pay for it. The property cannot destroy the "evidence" and expect me to pay for something that I did not do. Also, they charge $40.00 for oven drip pans that are $20.00, I paid for cleaning so they should have cleaned them not replaced them. This apartment complex should really be audited and pay back tenants that they have charged wrongly. I was also charged $100.00 b/c I did not have insurance on the apartment during the month I was not even living in it. The ins. is for my belongings and there were none in the apartment.Initial Complaint

I have been without wifi since September 20. The only answer management told me was to call the wifi company, and the wifi company cant fix the issue and have all but stopped trying. And management still wont do a thing about it. Having wifi is in my lease, I found out that 7 other residents in the building have the same issue. I am paying rent, I am paying for wifi, but neither company is interested in resolving the issue. We are only allowed to use one company for wifi, and I think that they are well aware that they have a monopoly on the complex, and therefor dont really have any urgency or care to fix problems.
