Our Top Notch experience was completely reprehensible. The pick-up/loading crew was stellar. But delivery was a nightmare. The first stop was to meet the movers at our storage unit. The driver arrived 1 day + 1 hr late in a completely different truck that had been packed, with no lift/ramp, no helpers. We were never told our move was going to be sub-contracted or that our items had been transloaded because the truck broke down. The driver realized he could not unpack himself so he left to go get helpers from **********. Our possessions would now be handled by some random side-of-the-road guys who were not employed, not background checked, and who were going to be paid under the table. After waiting another hour of waiting, we left. There were many chaotic phone calls with Top Notch and the sub-contractor company trying to deal with this disaster. While sitting in the car, we even emailed owner *** who didnt reply for 5 days. We agreed to meet the driver the next day at 7am. Next morning, the driver texted that the jalopy had broken down. When we called, the driver had no roadside assistance. We drove to his hotel and assisted in jumpstarting the truck. Then the driver left to pick up workers. Upon arrival, we saw all our labeled/organized goods were completely jumbled in this crappy truck and nearly half of our stuff was water damaged because it had leaked. It was required that we pay full price or the driver was going to leave - ******! ********* at Top Notch told us that after the move, we could discuss a refund. Under duress, we agreed to pay and the move was completed.We called the next day. ********* informed us they have to wait for the final paperwork and that we should take down our poor reviews to show we want to cooperate. It felt like extortion. But we agreed. Over many days, we called and left messages. In the end, ********* sent a cowardly email stating they fulfilled their contract-offered us a $629 refund. On a $6200 move, thats insulting!

The price was far less than I had anticipated. They didn't tack on extras like some other businesses did. If I ever need to use them again, I will.

They worked tirelessly, never wasting a moment, and completed the move well ahead of schedule. I wholeheartedly recommend Top Notch Movers

HORRIBLE! Moved home within 2.5 miles and over half the furniture was damaged. Offered ***** for the damage. Horrible! Do not use.
