Action Immigration Bonds requested me to send them a picture of my new credit card before my credit card on file expired. on December 31st at 2:42 pm I sent the information via text just the way they requested. However, my Credit Card was charged anyways for the amount of $5000. I reached out to Action Immigration Bonds the first week of January to resolve this matter. The agent responds was " We left early that day and there was no one available to receive your information ".In order to solve this inconvenience and to return the charges I have to pay a fee (I think the agent said $150 or so) According to the website this company opens 24/7. **********************************************************************'m not sure why they are trying to take advantage of me. Obviously, this agent is either lying to me about the hours of operations or is trying to charge me extra money for no real reason. I'm wondering how accurate is the information they provide to their customer and wondering if situations like this had happen in the past. I would like an explanation on this matter.

      Complaint: 19366921

First of all, thank you to all parties involved for taking the time to look for a solution on this matter.

I am rejecting this response because:
Action immigration Bonds is referring to a contract that in fact is pending and has nothing to do with them changing my CC.
The main complaint and the reason for my frustration is. Why was my CC charged?  Even if I did what I was told.

I received a phone call on December 28th from an agent representing Action Immigration Bond reminding me to send a picture of my new CC before the end of the year 2022 since my current CC was expiring by the end of the month. He clearly said to me "if we don't receive the new CC before the end of the year... Your CC will be charged $5000. To avoid this. You must send me the picture of the new CC before it expires "  I also received a text on that same day from the agent for me to follow his direction and send him pictures of the new CC.
Few days later on December 31th I was able to find the new CC, at 2:42PM on that same day I sent two pictures, front and back via text as directed by the agent from Action Immigration Bond . Right after sending the pictures I called the offices twice, however there was no one to answer the call.
I called Action Immigration Bond  the first week of January when I realized my CC balance. I believe I spoke with the same agent that requested the picture of the new CC back on December 28th. This agent told me that even if I sent the pictures on time they left early on December 31st and no one was available to receive and process the new CC information. His resolution was for me to pay a fee to Action Immigration Bond for them to reimburse me the $5000. ( the fee is $100 and something... I'm not sure )
Action Immigration Bond is responding to this complaint with a letter that has the information for the contract. However, with all due respect it doesn't explain the reason for charging my CC. Clearly on their response letter it is stated that business hours are Monday -Friday 9am to 5pm. Which contradicts the conversation I had with the agent the first week of January.
In conclusion I have to pay a fee because they left early on December 31th, and no one was available to process my new Credit Card information. How is that fair to a customer ?

Thank you again. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you soon and solving this inconvenience.

      Sincerely,

      *************************
