*********************** has incorrectly identified our company, Riley Adjustment Bureau (Riley), as the subject of his complaint. After speaking with ************ on March 14, 2024 at approximately 1:30 PM, he explained that he was unsatisfied with the timeframe in which his service invoices were being paid.
Riley, over the past three years, has never directly employed the services of ************ nor paid ************ for any completed claims adjusting services. In this particular case, Riley assigned JM Appraisal LV, Inc. (JM Appraisal) to complete a series of tasks. JM Appraisal, then in turn, assigned a portion of those tasks to ************ to complete based on proximity to the subject inspection location.
The business relationship between ************** and ************ is an exclusive one. Riley is unaware of any contract or understanding, either written or verbal, between JM Appraisal and ************, nor have they ever received any invoice from ************.
Additionally, while one the phone with ************, we expressed our understanding of his frustrations and requested to know what Riley could do to assist in remedying the situation. ************ explained that he does not believe Riley did anything wrong and that someone should not do business if they cannot pay service invoices timely.
To this date, ************ still has not informed Riley as to the amount in question nor have we received a copy of his invoice.
In summary, this dispute is more properly between *********************** and JM Appraisal LV, Inc. as Riley Adjustment Bureau never employed the services of ************ and never received any invoice requesting payment for such services.
