On May 12, 2021, Under Pressure Cleaning and Sealing came to our house to clean our roof. Whatever chemicals they used, they stained the sidewalk and driveway. We contacted them immediately and they sent out a fellow to pressure wash the areas, but the stains did not come out. Our association requires driveways to be in good condition and repaired immediately. Under Pressure owne from Esteror came out and said he would pay for half of the driveway staining. His personal estimate to fix it himself was $818, but his work and stain were not guaranteed. We contacted a vetted painter in our association who said he would do it and guarantee the stain and work for $800. Now the Under Pressure owner says he will not pay half of that even though we already paid him for the roof cleaning and our painter is vetted, cheaper and guaranteed. He is totally refusing to step up to the plate and take responsibility for his mistake.VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/07/22) */ After the customer made us aware of the stain on the driveway, we immediately sent a crew to try to clean it. The stain did not come out. I then came out to inspect. The entire driveway was in very poor condition. Most areas were oxidized and or peeling. I offered to repaint the areas that we damaged for free. The homeowner wanted the entire driveway and sidewalk repainted. They only wanted their product used. That product was previously applied and did not hold up well. I offered to repaint the entire driveway and sidewalk with their paint at half price. The homeowner instead changed their mind and wanted the cash of what I would have charged. I repeatedly told them that because my company is licensed to do the job, we would do it for half price, NOT give them cash for half of my estimate. They then asked if I would just give them a check for what it would have cost me to seal the area that we affected. I wrote them a check for $136. Basically, the homeowner wanted us to pay for their driveway to be repainted. The driveway and sidewalk were in very poor condition. We only affected about 5% of the driveway. I offered to repaint half for free, but they were not happy with that. I then offered to repaint the entire driveway for half price. They were not happy with that. They wanted me to pay another contractor to do something we could have easily done and I refused. They then asked for me to pay them my cost on the repair so they could have the entire drive and sidewalk re painted. I paid them and they are now submitting a complaint to BBB. I would NEVER recommend this company because of the way the owner, *****, deals with problems. He did not listen to us, did not acknowledge the problem his company caused or take responsibility for it, insulted our real estate, and did not come through to fix even half of it with a vetted painter. We both agreed that it would cost $800 and that he would pay half, but he only sent a check for $136...even though we had already paid $154 to him for roof cleaning AFTER he damaged our driveway. We were responsible for our bill, but he was not responsible for his wrongdoing. This is not a guy people want to do business with. Our association "PASSED" our driveway as suitable before Under Pressure came, but did "NOT PASS" it after they were here...requiring us to fix it. Also, our association REQUIRES that we use only one specific stain for cement driveways, and they will not accept another kind of stain that some outside company may use. Our association VETTED painter guarantees his work and stain which Under Pressure does not. We had agreed on each paying half of the $800, but Under Pressure only sent a check for $136. How sad that they are sacrificing future business from us and others for a mere $264 (for a total of $400). Had his employees been conscientious and not stained our driveway and sidewalk, and had the owner taken responsibility and fixed it, we would not be submitting this complaint or having to restain our driveway and sidewalk. We tried patiently to work with him, but he refused to be professional and pay for his employee's damages. We didn't cause this. They did.
