I bought a VIP membership and the next day I emailed them to tell them I decided to cancel my contract since I had 5 days to legally do so. I continued every day to try and reach out and they finally contacted me on the fifth day. They now are saying they wont refund my money and that O didnt contact them within the five day period. After I told them I did and showed them proof, now they are saying it doesnt matter they still wont refund my money. And then they put my membership on inactive status, so even if I dont get my money back I wont be able to use it anyway. So frustrating and unprofessional. So sad this tainted my experience there.

I have had a 25 year membership to Palace resorts, I have used it 4 times and felt good about the service. I recently tried to book a reservation for next Feb and member services cannot give me a " members discount quote " that far ahead. ???? But I can book it online for the same dates as a non-member cheaper than they say the membership price is. For example they will tell me if I could book a feb trip this year it would be $5400 for 2 adults for 7 days at the Moon Palace. The same stay was $4200 for non-members. I cannot even get member services to call me back. This is a joke of a membership. Please do not waste your money. J **** Member # *******

We fell for it too in *******. We were told we would get 2 free weeks. We took the bait because this would basically equal what we paid. The problem is, what he wrote on paper at our presentation, was not what was entered into the contract. On another note, we had fraudulent charges on our card, our rep who called himself the "3rd guy" was the last person to have it in his possession. Coincidence...I don't think so.The resorts are beautiful, id rather pay full price than deal with this is.

The resorts are beautiful . But the elite unlimited plan is a hoax. They promise you the world but when you gonna book they tell you another story. Dont fall for it . You better off going through Expedia

I stayed at one of their hotels with my family and an alteraction ensued in which a staff member put their hands on one of my family members. The staff / management did nothing to help the situation / did not even apologize. They pulled up the cctv video to show me the altercation and when I told them they pulled up the incorrect time frame they did nothing and dropped the matter. Ena ************************* when contacted stood by her staff although several members of my family witnessed the issue. On this basis alone I will not be visiting this location again. On top of that the first desk staff is disorganized and rude. When we arrived we were given the incorrect rooms and took two days to resolve the matter and even had a front desk member try to threaten us.

A scam. From looking at the responses below- looks like I'm not alone with the "Palace Resorts" dissatisfaction pool.I bought a membership in 10-3-2003 that expires in **** 2023 but their membership contract allowed for a 20 year extension if we applied for the extension after ****-23 and no later than ****-24. Problem is- they will not honor their contract in regards to the extension.Guess I should have known better. Shame on them for promissing it- shame on me for believing it.Too bad because we really enjoyed the few trips we took and now that I'm retired- we were looking forward to more trips and wanted to take some of our children and/or grandchildren.Do not buy a membership !!!!!

Playa del Carmen Hotel, My wife and I loved everything about our vacation here! The location was great because of Quinta Venida & the ferry ride to go to Cozumel being so close. Everything was clean at the resort. Most importantly, the staff were great. From the bar tenders, to the cleaning services, and all of the entertainment staff, we felt like we fit right at home with how welcoming and enjoyable our time was with everyone around us. We recommend Playacar 100%, and we want to thank them again for making our vacation memorable and worthwhile!

They ruined my golf vacation. I was promised unlimited golf, this sealed the deal for me unlimited golf, like an idiot I took them at their word, they lied and changed their story when we got to the hotel. These people spend a lot of time and effort training their employees on the art of deception. You get the runaround so dont waste your time explaining the promises they made. No one takes responsibility and they will not budge, they will not admit any mistakes on their part they will put this in you. And just like that with a straight face they try to convince you to go to one of their timeshare scams, where they will save your vacation by giving you **** resort points to use on golf that you already paid for. Typical con artists

**************** is amazing in person at the resorts and particularly when they are trying to sign you up or expand your existing membership but if you have an issue to resolve on the phone from your home far away they are horrendous. The reps on the phone are useless, just a screen to filter calls. No help, resolution or even being able to transfer to the right person. I had issues before but this time it reached the top. I ask them not to charge the initial card that we provided since it was a debit card. I provided them with the revised Promissory Notes they requested with the new credit card number. All at no avail, just to request the change took me three days and then ******************************************************************************* out of pocket close to $5000. I have asked to reverse the transaction but absolute silence, no calls back, nothing. They are awful. The resorts are amazing but consider doing business with a company that is only interested in you to get your money and when you need them they are not reachable.

Absolutely deplorable, deceitful, and disgusting sales practices. I fell for it, please stay away!!!
