      I used Suddath as my moving company as I moved abroad from Miami, FL to *****. On January 30, 2023 I was informed that there was a balance due of $370.26 that needed to be paid before delivery. I paid this amount, and the delivery went ahead as scheduled with no issues. On March 13, 2023 I was informed that accounting has reviewed my file and I have an additional balance due of $52.04. Since I had already been told that my account had been paid in full, I asked what this charge was for. The response that I got was that this was a mis-applied storage rate and received an invoice for the $52.04. However, on January 30, the $370.26 cost was labeled as "Insurance and Storage Total". They have provided no other explanation for how this additional charge occurred other than it was a "simple typing error". To me, this does not make sense as this is a large error. No additional storage took place after paying the amount on January 30th and so there should not have been any additional charges. Due to this being approximately 6 weeks after I paid my balance in full and receiving my stuff, and the large difference in cost I am concerned about the legitimacy of these charges. In addition, since I was already told that my account had been paid in full, I am concerned about receiving any future charges due to random "accounting errors" that will be found in the future.

      To Whom It May Concern,

      Suddath Van Lines, Inc., its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries, including Suddath Relocation Systems of Ft. Lauderdale, Inc. (collectively, Suddath) is in receipt of the Complaint. Suddath greatly appreciates that ********* took time to share his experience with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Suddath takes all feedback seriously and constantly evaluates how it can deliver a superior customer service experience. Accordingly, and after looking into the Complaint,Suddath tenders this response to the Complaint.

      Suddath provided and/or facilitated moving, transportation, storage, move management,and/or related services for Turransky in connection with his international relocation from Miami, FL to *****.  In the Complaint, ********* alleges that Suddath recently requested an additional payment related to Suddaths services in the amount of $52.04 (the Additional Charge).  ********* maintains that he has already paid his final balance in full for the services that Suddath provided.  ********* asserts that he has not received an explanation for, or validation of, the Additional Charge.  Accordingly, ********* ultimately requests that Suddath either (i) provide further details to substantiate the Additional Charge or (ii) waive the Additional Charge.

      In response to the Complaint, Suddath revisited Turranskys move file.  In doing so,Suddath confirmed the validity of the Additional Charge, which pertained to temporary storage services which were provided outside of the original quote issued to Turransky.  Notwithstanding the validity of the Additional Charge, and Turranskys obligation to pay the Additional Charge to Suddath, Suddath will waive the Additional Charge as a good-faith customer service gesture.  By taking this action, Suddath is delivering the desired result sought by ********* in the Complaint.

      Suddath seeks to provide superior customer service and hopes this response is helpful to the BBB and Turransky.Should the BBB need additional information from Suddath, please contact Suddaths Legal Department.
