      Is Negative stars an option? Raised rates from 3k to 8k, never filed a claimever! Until I got letter same as the rest of these folks about roof being too old. Had it inspected and learned a lot of hail damage from 2023 April had affected the roof. Filed a claim, first time in my life, PTI low balled the claim, mailed checks directly to roofer (in error), demanded I pay full cost of repair, 40k! Before they would reimburse! Then raised my rates to 10k! Now flow walking reimbursement! They dont care about you. They are not interested in paying claims and figure they can drag it out! Steer clear of this company and their shenanigans!

      Horrible company! Over charged me 5 yrs then dropped me due to the age of my roof. I redid my roof and they still refused to reinstate me.

      I have been a customer for eight years. I have never gotten a bill online or by USPS. I’ve CONSTANTLY not received any information, bill notices even though I have a greed to pay more for mail service rather than online because I don’t get either. Twice a year when bills are due I got no notice online or mail.. I only receive notices that my home insurance has expired because I have not paid. How can you pay on time when you never get a bill

      For some context, let me share my insurance premium with People's Trust over the last 3 years:2020 - $2,017.00 2021 - $2,631.00 2022 - $3,164.00 2023 - $10,490.00 ----> 331% increase+I called and requested a callback, it's been 3 weeks and no one has returned my call.How can they increase like this without any consequence? no one has called me back after I requested to speak with someone about this increase.Who's looking out for the consumer?!

      Three weeks after our house fire, they have even started clean up.They changed desk adjusters on ** without any kind of a notice, miss deadlines they set and rarely return voicemails or texts. I'm starting to feel they are either very understaffed or just outright incompetent I had no choice but to hire a public adjuster today.

      I thought *** was the thing that should be feared, it turns out it's my insurance company Peoples Trust is the one to be feared. I was told the *** would be contacting me asap. That still hasn't happened, so I called and told peoples trust that because my roof and soffits were gone and my ceilings had caved in that my A/C unit was not shutting off due to no insulation left and I feared my a/c would break down. So called peoples trust and I was toldI HAD to fix my ceiling, so no more damage would happen and I did. Now I have been served court papers from peoples trust suing me for not letting the *** do the repairs. Never trust peoples trust!!

      Same here people! Hurricane Ian damages. Low ball estimate. 4 adjusters to date. Every month a new one. No one calls you back. No emails. Imagine, we got an email saying RRT doesn’t know how to handle our metal roof claim. RRT rapid response..are you kidding..no one has come here except the field adjusters way back. I was told 8 months to a year out! Nothing rapid there! Hurricane season will be on us again. Personal property not being paid. I sent invoices. Beware, if you send more than 10 invoices they go to an outside source called enservio. Guess they’ve seen a Macy’s invoice for furniture? No payment to date. Not one red cent. Lawyer up people.

      I am 100% disabled veteran. I have reached out several times and have zero help. My family and I are currently sick from the mold we are living with from Hurricane ***. I filed my claim on 09/30/2022, hurricane hit 09/28/2022. It's not like I procrastinated. They are allowing our family to slowly die and a veterans family at that. I have had to contact outside sources to assist in getting any help with getting the insurance company to do the right thing. So far the outside sources have had to back down, cause they feel its a loss and have frustrated there expertise on getting my family help. PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY!

      On peaceful days, this companys service is good. However, when Hurricane *** hit, my views about this company has been totally overturned. I filed claim next day when house was hit by strong wind and caused rain to flow from vent to the inside wallstheir claim agent is almost a joke- doesnt seem be able to deliver one satisfactory answer and you had to send multiple messages and making multiple phone calls over weeks in order to get a response, even considering its busy for them. When I asked the agent to explain the documents she sent, she just can not give a sound answer. After signing the paper to authorize contractor to do the repairs at my cost which was so needed , I was told they would not send *************** what kind of insurance company is THIS?? Horrible after claim service and their decision of NOT sending the first responders/repair team is out of profession and a shame !

      They do not help at all, they low ball you. On ******** I am starting to see complaints in different groups. Hard ****** learned. People please do your research before you choose this company
