Straight Shot Moving, owner Tabatha D***** husband and senior manager Michael E*******. and employee Tristin B****, were located at 705 Fentress Blvd, Daytona Beach. 32114, on Nov 6, 2021, at the time I contracted with them for a move of my household property from Golden CO to their storage unit in Daytona Beach, and then to ultimately be moved to my new home in Dunedin FL when my new build was finished which turned out to be Jan 23,2023. I paid them $7,615 in moving and monthly storage costs through receipted credit cards and zelle. After confirming the last leg of the move with them the weekend prior to the Dunedin move, they were a no-show on Jan 23,2023 for delivery of my property. Their phone was disconnected. I found Michael E******* on Lake Mary FL FB market place and messaged him and his response was that he had “lost” my property-and then he blocked me from further contact. This company changes names frequently and now goes by ******** Moving. *** ******** ***** **** ***** *** ****** ph ************* The owner is still Tabatha D***** and her husband Michael E******* is still the manager. Other names for this company have included ** ****** *** ******* **** ******** ****** *** ******* ****, and ****** *** ***** I am writing to report that Straight Shot Moving has taken my payment(s) and not delivered my property. We used Straight Shot Moving for a local office to an office move in Lake Mary, Florida. The foreman promised the use of blankets and swore his team would be very careful with our expensive Italian glass coffee table. Not only were they not careful with our desks and other equipment, they neglected to box our coffee table as promised, stuck it on a dolly and piled chair mats on it. The first bump on the way out the door caused it to shatter. We have spoken to them several times, left innumerable messages, sent emails (with pictures), received several promises that they would repair or replace our table but still, over 3 months later we are no closer to a resolution. We would like the table replaced or repaired.Initial Complaint

Movers broke or lost several items during our move. Claims department was initially responsive and offered to pay $1,000 via Zelle to which I agreed. They have not paid me, and are now ignoring me completely, both via email and Facebook. As a resolution I simply want my claim money they agreed to.Business response

We hired Straight Shot Movers to handle our move from Indiana to Florida. We moved 12/2020 and had them store our items. They delivered our items on 3/21. Our couch and loveseat were brand new, cost close to $2000 and they damaged the fabric on the bottoms. For 2.5 months they have said they were going to have it repaired and they have not. They will no longer respond to our emails and texts. Their phone does not allow for voicemails. Their contract states they need to repair or replace damaged items and that they have 5-10 business days to do so. They have well exceeded that time limit.
