      PLEASE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU REGRET!!!I had a terrible experience with this household mover company. ****************** hired Energy Moving Systems for the pick-up and storage, and R&M Transportation for the delivery. I contracted for a move from ***********, ** to ******, **, paid 50% of the price upon signing the contract, and was promised a pick-up within three days. However, they arrived a week late and demanded three times the contract price, threatening to not pick up my belongings unless I paid. I was left with no choice but to pay them $7500, an increase from the initial $2500 contract price.They also threatened to dump my items if I didn't pay in advance. After the pick-up, they gave me no estimated delivery date and were extremely unresponsive to my calls. *****, a representative of Energy Moving, was extremely rude and insulting every time I called, blaming me for not paying for a premium moving service and claiming he had given me discounts when I never asked for any. After six weeks, someone called me to say my items would be delivered on a Friday without any chance for me to choose a delivery day or time window.Upon delivery, the R&M Transportation delivery man demanded the remaining money before I had even seen my items. He also forced me to sign the delivery receipts before unloading the truck. One of the worst things was that they only accepted cash or Zelle, making it impossible for me to dispute the payment for mis-delivery or misbehavior. They also required all payments upfront, essentially holding me hostage.Overall, my experience with ******************, Energy Moving Systems, and R&M Transportation was beyond disappointing, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

      I'm not even getting into all the hundreds of specific problems we had with R & M. EVERYTHING said in ALL THE REVIEWS IS TRUE OF OUR EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT USE THEM!! DAMAGED PROPERTY, RUDE, SARCASTIC PEOPLE WHO USE THE "F" WORD TO YOUR FACE & swear & CALL NAMES. I have witnesses & phone recordings of all this! One new worker was so appalled at their behavior on the scene that he actually quite on the spot! Smart guy...he had integrity! THE ABSOLUTE WORST NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Everything that happened in the other reviews happened to us too!! DO NOT USE!!

      This company is connected with relocation nation, https://relocationnationmoving.com/. If there was - stars, man would I - THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. USE!!!! They DO NOT have their own trucks, they use a company called R&M Transportation (which might be going under another name "Energy Moving" - they are the movers and they SUCKED something terrible, the was only own mover/driver he was honest, kind & great. They lost my products, damaged my products and mixed up my products, can you believe i was getting *******************. Every single negative review is SPOT ON!!!! For any of the employee that know what going on - change your job, your amongst one of the worst!!!

      The company we contracted with outsourced to this company. Pick up was fine, but delivery was and continues to be a fiasco. The guys came to deliver on a Saturday evening, almost 2 hours later than the end of the window I received from them. They won't unload anything until I not only pay the remaining balance, but also sign for the delivery before we received any of it. I was told at pick up that they would deliver everything and reassemble the furniture that was disassembled the day of pick up. Not the case. They didn't even bother to take off their moving blankets. They left everything thrown in the middle of the living room. Then, since they arrived late, the main driver told me they would be back in the morning to finish the job. Those were his exact words. At this point, half our belongings were left outside, and about a quarter, I assume, was still on the truck. The next day, that window comes and goes. I reach out to the driver. He tells me he is already in another part of the state delivering for someone else and to call his partner. I reach out to that guy and he has no idea what I am talking about. He is a private contractor who accepted the delivery job off Craigslist and wants to charge me extra to come finish the job. Its around this time that we start noticing all the things we are missing. A dresser, a nightstand, a desk, and several smaller things including a large suitcase full of clothes. We spend weeks going back and forth with this company and the main one. Neither can do anything. We never got our stuff back and no one ever came back to reassemble any of the furniture they took apart. They probably delivered our missing items to the next delivery stop, or just lost it completely. They took our money and ran. Do not use this company.

      I was moving from IN to NY, my lease in IN ended on May, so I started my moving before the end of May, but even though I already had a place in NY, I didn't need to be in NY until the end of June. Because they picked up my household in May, they told me, that they can deliver it since the first day of June. I wasn't in NY yet, but I called them to find out when my moving will arrive so that I was in NY when my household arrive, because I wasn't living in NY yet. When I called them, They told me, you are so lucky you are going to receive your moving between June 8th and 10th, so I flew to NY, of course I didn't received it, so they said, we have a little delay, but you are going to have it by the weekend, didn't arrive. Every time that I called them, they said in 2 days. When I was so mad, after 3 weeks saying in 2 days you'll have your household, because they have been lying all the time and i didn't need to be in NY yet, they told me, that my household were still in IN and they didn't know when I was going to receive it. Why they can't speak with the truth from the beginning and nobody gets upset. I didn't need to be in NY all that time waiting, I was supposed to still be working in IN and had many problems with my boss, because *** was always lying about the delivery date

      Ms. ***, you've already been compensated although you booked the most cheapest basic package with a 3rd party broker expecting express delivery, white glove service in peak busy season for $600 under market value. Sadly you still don't understand the terms you booked and we cant do anything about this "review". Best of luck to you in NY.

      I am not claiming about the delay, my annoyance is for your lies about the arrival day, even though you knew, that I was not going to received my moving soon, you always kept saying that I was going to receive it in 2 days, instead of saying the truth from the beginning

      You did NOT reserve/pay for a guaranteed/express move date and your claim's resolved.

      Your broker reservation was based strictly on flexibility within 30 business days AFTER your earliest request.

      The schedule changes everyday, in real-time so obviously the arrival period is subject to change based on what you booked.

      We cant do anything about this bogus review but you can familiarize yourself with the terms you booked. You broker sent it out to all parties for a reason.

      You are saying that the schedule changes every day, but after 3 weeks saying that in 2 days will arrive my moving, you told me that do not call anymore because my moving was still in IN, that is my complain, that you knew that my moving was still in IN and for 3 weeks you said that my move was on the way, this is my complain that you never said the truth, I am not complaining for the delay, I am complaining that you never spoke with the truth,

      I am not complaining for the delay. My complain is that from the first call you said your moving is arriving in 2 days, from the first day of the 30 days time frame and you knew it was not true and I was not hurrying you, I was really far away and I had to fly to NY because you were not saying the truth, you knew that my moving was still in IN, because after 30 days you told that my move was in IN and you did not know when I was going to receive it,. The first time that I called to ask, you could say, I don;t know yet and that was perfectly okay. It seems that you don't understand that I am not complaining for the delay, I am complaining because you don't say the truth. If I called your company every 2 days, was because every time that I called you always said "call back in 2 days".

      R&M Transportation is a poorly organized company with no customer service. You can't get a hold of people to find out status then they call you late in the evening to let you know what you need to do. They picked up on time in a beat up rental truck. They gave conflicting information on the money order requirement causing me to have to run around and get another money order the day of the move. The driver did not listen and pulled a desk apart by pulling the nails out when I told him he needed to unscrew the brackets. They damaged a bench by wedging and wrestling it in and out of the truck while I stood there and asked him to move the stuff that had it wedged in. The delivery driver called and set a delivery time but didn't show or call. He called the next day and set another delivery time and didn't show or call. He finally showed up several hours late, sick and without a helper to unload.

      We are not to be confused with any broker's sales or customer service teams/office.

      We don't know how communication went with your coordinator/broker but your complaints don't make sense for such a basic reservation. I welcome you to call our warehouse with your contract in hand and we will read the terms you booked.


      As the carrier, we call you when we're close to the pickup/delivery and we did.
      You moved months ago, the only other time you reached out to us was to request claim form which we emailed almost 7 weeks ago.
      I checked all our records but please correct us if we're wrong.

      R&M Transportation is AWFUL. ***, who claims to be a manager, is obnoxious and untruthful. One of their drivers, *******, showed up sick on one delivery and then was a no-show on the second delivery. I hope that he is okay. However, I did find it strange that I spoke with him the same day I was told that he had a mild heart attack. He told me that he would be at my house 15 minutes PRIOR to the time he answered his cell. ***, who thinks he is a tough guy, could only say, "read your contract" every time I asked a question. *** refused to provide another name and phone number so I could speak to someone else...anyone else! The truck showed up without notice four days late! They put the furniture in the wrong place (I was not home to supervise), and then would not fix their mistake when I contacted them. Three items arrived needing to be fixed. BAD JOB.

      Mr. ****** You were told several times to review the terms because you did not reserve/pay for express delivery; our driver's health took priority. The manager offered to read the terms with you to show you it instructs you to call your Broker for assistance instead of antagonizing at our warehouse staff but you refused.

      We don't condone hostility but we understand that employees deserve the same respect as a customer or any other person. No one should have to ask anyone to please stop yelling threats.

      We're sorry we couldn't set up how you wanted but you were absent and left no instructions.

      We hope you change your mind/review after reading and understanding the terms you booked with your broker.

      The commentary from the business is both laughable and untruthful. Let me restate the facts: 1. The company did not show up when they told me they would on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 2. Then, with no advance notice, they show up on Friday morning when I was at work. 3. They delivered the items to the wrong rooms and wrong floors of the house. 4. The did not assemble the two-piece desk as promised. 5. Three items need to be fixed due to their mishandling thema mirror. a dresser. and the desk. 6. They refused to wait a few minutes so I could return home top help do the job right the first time.. 7. They were too lazy to follow my verbal instructions and "too busy" to do the job right when asked. Mt rating is a generous one star. The oldest trick in the book is for a bad company to claim that the customer yelled at them. Anyone reading this should never do business with this company. They should give me a refund and an apology. ***

      Bad estimate...demanded more money at pick up for a smaller shipment than estimated, as I had sold some things...did not meet either pick up nor delivery dates promised...was told shipment would stay on same truck, but was off-loaded to a warehouse and delivered by another provider...EVERYTHING in the shipment was damaged in some way, except for the boxes I personally packed. Now dealing with their insurance company, Anthem Claim Management...no response from them in 2 months! I have moved 12 previous times. This was THE WORST move ever and it was a very small shipment!! I would not recommend this fly-by-night company! They are substandard on every level! Would not give them ANY stars, but you require at least one!!

      R&M was just the transportation company. We didn't sell you the move nor did we choose your coverage, we only shipped it..
      Please look at your reservation. You charged same rate for your excess and we gave you a flat price ($100) for you unreserved packing.
      You, the shipper is who picks the coverage for the move and the company who will provide it well before we even come into the picture.
      Please remove this review and place it on the correct party.

      Not sure what these people are taking about! The response makes NO sense! I had NO say! R&M is THE ONLY contact information I had from start to finish. And, there ended up being 2 shipping companies...one who picked up the load and another who delivered it after the warehouse storage. And, I was actually charged $225 for "excess".....and the $100 was for packing materials!! Get your facts straight! Your response is as bad as the actual move!! Not surprised!!

      This has got to be the worst moving experience I've ever had. I have used several movers in the past, and this by far is the worst one. I initially signed a contract with American Plus Moving and was never told by the company they were going to use another company to move my belongings. I didn't find out until they showed up at my home for pickup. They use R & M Transportation / RM Transportation which are the absolute worst! They showed up one day late to pick up my items. No apology and the driver seemed annoyed that I was upset They finally showed up and had me sign another contract but didn't take time to explain the contract. I just thought I was signing that they picked up my belongings and that I paid them. Turns out, I signed away my right to be covered if any of my items were damaged or destroyed in the move. Week of course they would come actually become an issue. My delivery was supposed to be made withing 14 to 21 days. I began calling after the second week to find out when I would receive delivery. It was like pulling teeth to find out an estimate. After several phone calls and emails, a week was finally determined. Then they keep pushing my day off delivery back. Finally they called with a day and time window. Of course they were a no show and I never received a call to inform me they weren't going to arrive that day. After calling the company the next morning and complaining, they scheduled to deliver my furniture later the same day (day 27). The driver was 2 hrs late, but the fact that he showed up was a good thing (especially after reading the other reviews). I had to pay the company before the driver would move my items out of the truck. I used Zelle. Most of my items were delivered but they were missing one recliner chair! How do you lose a chair? If course I found this out after they were already paid in full! I've never had a "professional" moving company lose any of my property! Now I'm going to have to fight with this company to locate my chair or get reimbursed for the chair and my lost time with pickup and delivery. I paid in 3 installments. The first was made to American Plus Moving at the time the initial contact was signed with their Letter Head at the top. Second was at time of pickup with this unknown company. Third was at time of delivery. I should also mention I only moved a few items which included: a dining room table, four dining room chairs, one reclining chair, a chest of drawers, 2 cat trees, and several boxes.

We keep asking you to review the terms in order understand what can be done since we weren't given the chance to investigate with all parties involved and some details have changed.       If I could give this company negative stars I would. I had the most horrendous experience working with this company. They were hired by the broker company I hired to move my belongings from Georgia to Florida. The customer service was none existing. I have hours of phone calls recorded of how rude and aggressive this company was towards my husband and I. I had the police come when they arrived since I felt so unsafe around them. Upon arrival, my mattress had severe water damage from a leak in their truck, the bed was crushed and had grease stains from a grill they placed on top of the bed. They ruined the grill and could not even reassemble it. The bed frame had water damage. No furniture was wrapped in quilted blankets. They stole two of my watches right out of the boxes they were in. I would show you all all the photos of my damaged inventory if I could. And the best part, they charged me over $5000 to move a 1 bedroom townhouse 450 miles. PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH R&M TRANSPORTATION FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AND SANITY! They also go by Energy Moving Systems. They have negative reviews across Facebook and Yelp.

      Thank you so much for the fast reply. This has been the quickest reply I have received since working with this company. I have tried to resolve this by the numerous phone calls and emails I have sent you. I presented documentation and photos of the gross negligence of my belongings by your company. I spoke with a manager and pointed out every part of the contract that the company broke and you refused to acknowledge any fault on your end. I never received one apology or any sort of refund. I am not the only one that has had a terrible experience with your company. If you are unaware please refer to the previous 20 complaints on BBB, the 11 negative customer reviews on BBB, the 1.2/5 stars from 23 customers on FB, or the 1.5/5 stars out of 30 customers on Yelp.
