In September 2021 I bought two propeller with this company.The quote with a delivery in 8 weeks.After a year they never send the propellers.Business response

The customer ordered custom propellers in 9/2021 and was quoted ***** weeks for delivery. Unfortunately, due to factory closures associated with COVID-19, labor shortages, and material shortages, the lead time was extended and communicated through email and whatsapp with the buyer throughout the process. On 8/25/22, as per the attached, the order was delivered successfully to his freight forwarder and signed for by the freight forwarder acknowledging receipt.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:The explanations are not valid, they are using COVID as an excuse.
A year later the propellers are no good to me, I had to buy others that arrived in 45 days
I want my money back.
And takeback the propellers

Unfortunately, we can not authorize return or refund for these propellers. As noted to the customer at the time of order, the propellers that were requested were custom made propellers and we would require payment in full up front with 100% cancelation fee once the propellers were in product. The buyer not only contacted us throughout the process as he was made of the manufacturer delays, but he also contacted and communicated with the manufacturer as well about the delays. ********************* is the manufacturer of the propeller and they have stated the same policy in regards to return of the propellers. Deep Blue Yacht Supply only brokers the deal through the manufacturer and consumer as the manufacturer does not sell cosumer direct. The only solution we can offer is to have the propellers returned to us, where we will keep the on consignment for the buyer and will not charge any consignment fees if and when the propellers are sold.Initial Complaint

I ordered a boat prop with hub because the hub I wanted they claimed is what this would come with on 8-28-2021. I was very pleased it came quick I believe within 2 days. When I opened the box I was disappointed that the hub kit the order said was coming with it was not there. Instead they put in a different 1. I emailed them immediately and **** ****** responded saying both hub kits are identical because they are made by the same company. I emailed him stating that I wanted the other hub and if it wasn't available I would return the order since I could buy the hub kit he sent me locally. After a week of hearing nothing i called him on the phone and he stated he would send the other hub and to return the 1 he originally sent me. I waited a week then emailed again stating I did not recieve the hub or tracking info. So today I called him again. He stated this time he will send it and include tracking info this time. Upon reading Yelp reviews I don't think it's going to come.Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/10/01) */ I did recieve the correct hub I believe, but it did not include any box/packaging or instructions. Also there was no return label so I'm guessing he doesn't want the other hub back.
