I purchased the air conditioning units 4 years ago. In the last 6 months it has broken down 4 times. Each time we are left with a minimum of 3-5 days without air conditioning. My husband and I are 73 years old and my husband is undergoing treatment for Multiple myeloma (Bone Marrow Cancer). I called because I had a scheduled appointment today and theyre telling me the replacement has not come in yet I asked to speak with a supervisor but of course they telling me they will call me back but they never do. I spoke with ***** today. We have been without air conditioning since Wednesday and I need someone to fix this. I think they dont pay attention because were elderly. So just over a year ago I had a whole new ** system installed by this company. At the time of installation the technician told me to never use chlorine tabs which I had from my old system and asked where do I use them. So I threw them out. He said only use vinegar and showed me where to install monthly to keep the system from clogging. In February I had the system maintenance. The warranty states it must be done yearly which is for 10 years. In three occasions the system has stopped running. This is a vacation home. The reason I chose to replace the old system and get a new system was to have no issues. I have a board member and friends that check on my condo and place regularly. Recently I have listed my condo and on two occasions April 28th the realtor went to show my unit. She walked into water coming out of my closet where the ** unit is. Apparently the tech that did the maintenance did not put the kill switch back correctly because the system should of shut down preventing a water issue like this. They reimbursed my maintenance fee. The tech that came out for this problem said a line was clogged blew it out. But in his note said if it happens again its a building issue. I sent this to the board. They had a plumber come out and went through the plumbing with cameras and have reports. My realtor went 5/28/25 to show my unit again and the ** is once again not working. My old system never had this clogging issue. A couple of times the capacitor would go in the 9 yrs prior to this NEW system being Installed. I feel maybe the chlorine tabs did something possible but if this continues I want a new system. This is a problem as is trying to get service. Both times given 2-6 window first time in april they Met with ***** condo member. Arrived after 9. They gave same window 2-6 pm yesterday tthen changed to arrival 6-9pm then canceled and gave 1-4 for tiday 5/30/25. Also waited for a call back whuch I requested on 5/28 still no call.Customer Answer

Today is 5/29/25. Yesterday All year cooling ended up canceling 5/28 appointment after extending the visit 2 times. Today they extended it again and ***** is unable to be there between 4-8 the new time So now it scheduled for Saturday 5/30/25 10-1. I've spoken to *****, Leika and ****** within the last 24 hrs who said they would have a manager give me a call back. Still no call.

I am rejecting this response because: So they came out On Saturday. I still haven't heard from anyone ither than ***** who is the *********** member in my building that said the system was clogged again. This has been the case since they did the maintenance and put chlorine Tablets in the system. The new system was installed just iver a year ago was running good to satisfy the 10 yr warranty you have to have it serviced yearly wich was done late February 2025. Now the system has been having this clogging issue. I need to see it run properly first a few months. I went with a new system for piece of mind being that I use this condo as a vacation home not my permanent residence.

I Still have not received a call or any information about my AC. I know they went out on Saturday May 31st and met with ***** the *********** Member and supposedly it was clogged once again since they serviced the unit. I was told I would get a call and ** was stated also here from their response to the complaint and nothing so far. This is very concerning especially for a customer who put in a new system just over a year ago with All Year Cooling to have piece of mind. This condo is a second home and I'm not there all the time. I live in ** full time which they know and have that address.

So, know way did I the customer say everything was completed to standard. The manager from All Year Cooling as I stated before. Said she would be contacting me. Still no call. Also she was suppose to get back to me with a response to why the installer said during installation of my new ** unit to never use chlorine tabs. Then the technician that came to do the maintenance in late February 2025. Which you have to do to keep the ** under warranty. Put chlorine tabs into the system. I will be heading down to my condo on June 20th. We will see if the ** is still working. Not happy with both of their responses. First response they said the would call me. No call. So today 6/11/25 I had ***** *********** member go and check on my place to see if AC is running. It is not the temperature is 79 and its early 10:00am in Southern Florida so by noon it will be hotter in my place. I placed a call to All Year Cooling had to leave a voicemail they said all calls are returned in a hr. So their responsw again that it was all Fixed. It is not. Very frustrating to say the least that for approximately 9 months it ran fine after installation. Then the computer came to do maintenance to keep this new unit under the 10 year warranty guidelines. The tech put chlorine tabs in the unit which I was told by installer not to use and to only use vinegar and he showed me where to pour it in. ***** just called from All Year Cooling. She agreed this has been going on for to long and is sending ***** a technician specialist tomorrow 6/12/25 between 10:00-2:00.

I didnt feel comfortable waiting for aome solution to work over 24 hours which I have no idea what the put in and ***** said the same. It was just a white container. This is what AYC recommended. So it has been done. ***** Will monitor the ** and temo in my unit over the next week. If it goes down again. I would like another system installed. So, I just arrived today 6-20-25 to my condo. I wanted to set eyes on my place. If you look at the pictures I included. I'm not happy what All Year Cooling did with the pipe on the unit. If you notice the piping on the left side in the pictures .They must of cut the pipe why I dont know. Then did this crappy job to fix it. They ****** moused it back together. This system was a year old 4/11/25. I would like this PVC pipe replaced the way it was not like this.

It looks like the tech that was there Mickey ****** it back together with a rubber/plastic piece instead of white PCP piping. Why did they have to cut it in the first place.? The first picture shows whatbit should look like when they installed 4/11/24. I want it to look new like the picture not what it looks lije in second picture. I haven't been contacted. I called All Year Cooling for a service call, which I paid for in advance with a credit card. The technician told us we needed new A/C motor and fan because there was stucco on the blades. The company required a $1,395 deposit, so we gave them a check. The next day I scrapped the stucco off and scrubbed with steel wool and everything seemed fine, so I called and cancelled the extra work. The woman on the phone said fine, and she would notify the billing department about the deposit. 2 days later I got a phone call saying the parts wouldn't be in for another couple days. I informed the woman that I had cancelled, and she told me that she would rip up the deposit check. The next day it got cashed and I have been getting a run around about a refund ever since. It has been over a month, and I still don't have the deposit back.Business Response

I am a 60 year old single female, I called a company All Year Cooling to have my air-conditioning checked and they ended up selling me a new unit. They promised me the unit was going to be a Rheem unit and they ended up installing a ******* unit which is way lower quality and extremely noisy. Lots of things happened, but the main ones are that I had three leakages in the handler and two leakages in the roof.The technicians they sent to my house were unprofessional to the point that one of them was hitting on me, crossing the line asking me if he could text me for other purposes other than business (to put it in a professional way). ***** *******, their sales manager told me he would refund me my money which is $3500 but the debt is still appearing on the Synchrony card labeled Rheem (basically they tell you they install Rheem but then they installed whatever they have), and they dont send their own people they subcontract for example, my AC unit was installed by a sub contracting company called Stay ******* justify installing a ******* unit instead of a Rheem unit, they tell you that the Rheem unit doesnt fit in my roof (I had a **** unit in my property before this company came to my house and all my neighbors have a Rheem unit!!! Rheem units fit perfectly well, its an excuse to get rid of what they have in stock!Even the maintenance man (in front of me) at my condominium association told them I didnt want a ******* unit because of its poor quality but they installed it anyway!Another one of their managers, her name is ***** *****, send me an email telling me that she was available upon request. She didnt leave a phone number so I called the company and asked for her phone number. I left her a voicemail. She never responded. We are working with the customer to resolve her concernsThis is a complete lie. The general manager ***** ***** promised to get back with me and disappeared. It took a complaint to the Better Business Bureau for her to contact me. She came to my place with another technician and she promised me to get back with me. She even told me to skip the company and contact her directly, and she doesnt even answer my texts, voicemails or emails. They do that to make you feel you are customer serviced, but you are NOT.
Additionally, when I ****** all year cooling complaints with a Better Business Bureau they have a million complaints similar to mine.
Another AC company told me that what they did is called switch and bait.
And thats exactly what this company did to me. They sold me Rheem and they installed *******.and they told me that they gave me the 10 year warranty (that comes with a good man unit!) they also told me they would give me the 10 year labor, but thats only if this company stays in business which I doubt it. Additionally their technicians are scary!
After the attached exchange, NO RESPONSE. She disappeared.

I went over in detail her installation, after going over it she was very happy and then out of nowhere wrote the BBB. Her AC unit is running and cooling and has been since the installation. This company writes nothing but FALSE STATEMENTS. Proof of thIs is their ****** reviews. They have been scamming people for years.
1) my BBB complaint is what made ***** ***** come to my condo. Not all the way around and I never said I was happy.
2) ***** ***** promised me that she would refund me/adjust the price and she DISAPPEARED (see text).
3) While at my condo she gave me her card and told me if you have ANY ISSUE AT ALL call ME, skip the company and CALL ME (her phone number is ************)
Then she DISAPPEARED AGAIN.
4) While she was at my condo, she admitted that she preferred Rheem to *******.
5) they installed Goodmam because thats what they had in stock (swap and bait) and it was not even installed by them. It was installed by a subcontractor called stay kool and I never called stay kool. Ever.
This is a company of scammers and I want my money back to get this over with.

There is NO SPECIFICATION OF HOW MUCH ARE THEY DISCOUNTING FOR THE **** AND SWITCH they did at my condo. They sold me Rheem and they installed the low quality ******* that Stay Kool had in stock. They didnt even install it themselves. They used a subcontractor with without my consent.
NO, theres absolutely NO BOCA RATON CITY VIOLATION, thats a FLAT LIE. Every single owner at ************ has a Rheem Unit and theres even a Rheem unit installed right next to the low quality ******* ** unit that FL HVAC installed. See the attached picture.
OF COURSE ******* is way lower quality than Rheem, even admitted by ***** *****, FL HVAC company general manager.
They keep talking about an adjustment and theyre not saying how much are they discounting!!

On may 18th of 2024 I bought an **** A/C unit for $6500 dollars from All Year Cooling, when they came to install the new A/C unit it was a different brand, what they installed was a **** unit (lower market price). Not only that but they said that the unit was missing the heater and that they were going to come back in a few days to install it. Well, after several phone calls to them (they always said that theyll call me back and they never do). We are in December now and theyve had never come back to install the missing heater.Business Response

All Year Cooling installed an AC unit for me on 08/27/2021. I was told that If I request an inspection, it would be asking for trouble. The tech mentioned that the inspector would search the whole property just to find something to fined me. Years later, I found out that was a lie. Whenever I mention that they never had inspection done, their response is "not every city requires an inspection." They won't tell you which city does. However, I remember someone calling me and saying that they had to wait to see if the installation would pass the inspection. I did my research and found out that this allegedly fails inspection many times. Maybe they found a grey area. I was also told that I was supposed to apply for a permit after asking if they did yesterday. The unit gave me problems within a month or two which they fixed. It's been three years and have to replace the compressor. It's $1800 just for labor. Part has warranty. I got the extended labor warranty and was told that they would waive the freon fee of $200. They charged me the $200 the next day anyways. I called and it was refunded and said it was a clerical error. I was interested in their PMA promotion which was $139. I asked for two since it could only be used once. The total was supposed to be $278 for two but when I looked at the invoice, they charged me that price for one! The woman that helped me gave me her direct line and when I informed her of this, she made it seemed like it was for two. I sent her a screenshot so that she can see the error but she stopped responding afterwards. If you own investment properties (commercial or residential) .... STAY AWAY FROM ALL YEAR COOLING!!!! I'm waiting to see if I'd get a call back. If this is submitted, it means that they refused to give me my refund. I tried. It usually takes less than an hour. Let's see if they are trying to avoid calling just to keep my money. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!! INVESTORS BEWARE!!!! I have receipts. Refund my $278.Business Response

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, my central AC began acting up. It started to short cycle, constantly clicking on and off. It finally stopped working on Friday, September 27, 2024. I called up All Year Cooling to schedule an appointment for service. The next appointment that they had available was Tuesday, October 1, 2024. I was schedule between noon and four on that day. The technician arrived at 12 pm and was gone by 4 pm. During this time, they attempted to fix my air handler. It took two technicians working together to fix one wire. They should've performed a check and maintenance service at the same time. When they left, they complained about staying here too long. They didn't even check to make sure that the repair was complete. My air clicked air, ran a short cycle, and then click off again. I called the next day to schedule a follow up appointment. That was supposed to have been for today, October 3, 2024. The technician was due to arrive between noon and 4 pm. The technician was running late and was now due at 6 pm. At six ******* I called All Year Cooling to inquire about my service. All that I was able to reach was an automated voicemail. It's still hot in Florida and my house climbs into the upper 80s. They need to fix my air conditioning so that my house in comfortable. It should've been corrected two days; there's no excuse for me to keep calling. I'm a dissatisfied customer who no longer wants to deal with their company. The short cycling is ruining my air conditioning and running up my electric bills.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The unit was finally fixed and working correctly. I appreciate the effort of them finally coming out for the second time to diagnose and fix it. The first diagnosis thought it was fixed, but they didn't stay around to find out. When I tried to schedule the next day I was hopeful they would come out daytime. It took a technician the second day towards the evening to fix it and have it working correctly. I hope your system becomes updated and technicians better available so this allegation doesn't happen to somebody else with a service call.

Business collected 2500 of a $5,250 job. Appt 8/6. 3 hours late no call took measurements. 8/7 appt 8am-10am. No call no show. I call them now told *****. No call no show. I call them told to reschedule 8am the next day. Next day comes no show no call. I call them they tell me they are running late they show at 1pm. **** the salesman calls I complain he offers $250 off the bill I accept (big mistake). 3 workers do duct work and leave after making 4 holes in my ceiling. I call company they say theyll send a *********. No appt until 8/27. 12pm-4pm. 8/27 comes no show no call. I call them. They need to reschedule. They had plenty of times to make this right, plenty appointments that they did not keep and never reached out to me. I had to hire and PAY someone to fix all the holes in the 4 ceilings in my house that the companies workers left. I have videos and pictures but they are not downloading

Originally purchased new central air unit from All Year Cooling, *** on 05/01/2016. Unit was supposed to be 5 ton inside and out. They mismatched a 4 ton air handler with a 5 ton outside unit upon FPL audit. They informed me I was not getting 100% efficiency and that the unit would wear out prematurely now that it is broke they are unable to get parts Until September, I have called the manufacturer per their request to get the parts expedited and they have not assigned a case manager yet.
