    In September of 2023 Air America installed a New dual system for ************* at Tequesta Garden Condominiums. Install was good. Machines performing well. We are know still looking for a permit and final inspection. The contact was ***************************. He has since left the company and multiple phone calls to the office have not gotten us anywhere. All we have been asking for is that they complete the paper work so we can get this Inspected and closed.

    HORRIBLE COMPANY that has really gone downhill. I've been using them for the past couple of years for routine service checks and the technicians were fine, not anymore. I called them in March as my AC filter was all wet on the bottom and I was concerned. The guy came out and said, "you put your filter down to low, you have to keep it up a bit higher". That sounded kind of odd to me as I have never had this issue in the 22 years that I have owned by home but he is the expert. A few days later my AC stopped working and I called ***************** America again and another tech came out. He told me that my AC had frozen up and I need a new part. ( I cannot remember the name of the part now, something to do with the condenser.) I told him what the other tech said about the filter and he said that that tech was wrong. The part would cost $1,000 so I gave him a deposit of $750. He said it would come in in 3-5 days and he left. I waited patiently the five days and then called **************** America on Monday March 24th. to check on the part. All calls go to a call center in ************. The lady said she would have someone call me back to give me the status of the part that was ordered. No one called me back. I called numerous times on the 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 1st, and 2nd. Each time the lady told me someone would call me back to let me know the status of the part. All this time I did not have A/C. (Over two weeks). I ended up disputing the $750 with my credit card company and got my money back. I also called ANOTHER company who came out to look at my AC. This company said I DO NOT NEED THAT $1,000 PART, I ONLY NEEDED MY A/C LINES BLOWN OUT. He did that for $100 and everything is fine now. I am absolutely disgusted that at the very least, NO ONE FROM THE COMPANY EVERY RETURNED MY CALL. How can you trust a company when they can't even call the customer back to give them an update about a part.
