Check-in August 7th checkout about 10 mins later. $113.69. They failed to provide a clean, safe environment to sleep. We had a hard time opening the door, but when we finally got it open and turned on the light an army of roaches were fleeing across the beds, across the dresser and across the floors. There was stains on the bedding and it smelled moldy. I've never had trouble with hotels like this in the past. We immediately turned tail and headed to front desk and checked out. We never stayed in room. We asked for a refund at the moment and got told to call bookings, because we used them to book the room. Bookings contacted the hotel and they refused to refund. I care about health and customer service. So I called the hotel myself. I was yelled at and told that I would not get refund. She never even listened to what I had to say. She thought I was another customer. Which indicates to me, I'm not the only one.Initial Complaint

Rented room for July 24-28th 2021. Got their check in was told I could not was told there was an issue with my card and I couldn't take the money even though the money had already been removed from the card and I had proof of this room had cockroaches ants in the bathroom. After night one was being bitten checked mattress to find bedbugs. Paid $375entirestay microwave did not work took two days to get a new one. I'm fairly certain that many of the residents live there as a full time permanent residence honestly there was nothing but issues the entire stay key cards stop working got new ones multiple times seemed there was never anyone at the front desk The room was so hot had to go to Walmart and purchase a fan very disappointed I'm service and advertising as well would like a refund for the many many inconveniences. I reserved a room for 1 week about this time 1 year ago. I was assured by clerk that updates had been made. When my son arrived we looked at the motel and room. It was dingy, motel was run down, holes in parking lot and hair balls in the pool. My son would not stay there. I asked clerk for refund and was told by a surly clerk there was a no refund policy. I spoke with the manager who offered to correct issue and I spoke with Magnuson hotel headquarters to no avail. Have not received a refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/13) */ we never had a reservation under the name ***** *****. Please investigate at which hotel the guest actually had a reservation. Thank you Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/07/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It may have been under the name of my son ****** *****, but I paid for the motel. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/07/14) */ so, the lady made a non refundable reservation. Below see the note which my front desk staff left on the reservation of Mr ***** guest check in and the 17 year old son decided that our hotel is not up to his standards- Armani talk to him saying that we are renovating the rooms and after 2 hours mom came to the desk and repeated again her son is not happy and they will leave. Again as I said it was a non refundable reservation Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2021/07/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Any reputable business would have given me a refund. The room was not updated and my son did not stay at all. You are an unsavory businessman and the motel is a disgrace. This needs to be available for the public to view.
