    I live in ********** but bought a 2010 Chrysler/*** wheelchair van from Mobility Express in the summer of last year. Your employee, ******, described it in such a way that led me to believe it was a sound vehicle that I could depend on for many years. He showed me video of it and took it for a test drive while streaming it to me on his phone. It looked and sounded just fine. When it arrived, I was very disappointed. I found the body had many scratches including one long one. The interior was rough to say the least and it had a virtual cacophony of squeaks and rattles. As soon as I started the engine an obvious valve tap could be heard. It was loud enough to be heard 100 ft. away. The remote start feature seemed to have a mind of its own . It either didnt work at all or started the car and then shut down in about 30 seconds, On occasion, it worked properly. When I went to register it, I discovered it had been repossessed. Had I known it had been repossessed, I would not have bought it. Its not much of a stretch to conclude that someone who doesnt pay his/her bills probably wont take very good care of their car. Knowing that I bought it as is". I figured, there was nothing I coud do. I guess I should have interpreted the as is condition as a red flag. I expected that an organization the size of Mobility Express would maintain reasonably high standards.Within one week of ownership the electrical system went haywire. Upon starting the car one day, all of the dashboard indicator icons came on and stayed on and the windshield wipers came on and could not be turned off. I took it to an authorized *** dealer who discovered that much of the *** wiring that runs under the car was corroded. When trying to deploy the ramp, it often failed. The remote control and interior ramp deployment switches often failed. Repairs cost me $1400. The next thing that happened was the kneeling mechanism failed. The estimate for that repair was $3000. Following that, the sliding doors worked only intermittently. It was determined they needed new rollers and realignment. That estimate was $650 to $750. When I finally decided, I couldnt take it anymore, I tried to sell it to 4 local *** dealers. Three declined to make an offer at all and the forth offered only $5000. I finally sold it as is to a private buyer for $7800 I paid Mobility Express the retail price of $23,000 so my loss was $15,200 not counting expensive repairs and $700 in labor to transfer my hand controls to the van.All in all, my experience with the car has been exasperating,When reading portions of the about us section of your website, the following sentences appear:built upon a foundation of integrity, trust, excellence in service, quality and professionalism.We work hard to earn your trust, respect and confidence."We're committed to personal integrity"We do whatever it takes to make sure you're satisfied.Finally, I should point out I made your employee ****** aware of these issues from time to time. I also left 3 messages asking that the person he referred to as the owner of the company, call me back but no such call back ever occurred I therefore believe that calling upon your integrity, character honor and the statements made on the copany website,, I should be offered a partial refund,. Even though I bought the van as is and expected some less than perfect aspects of the vehicle I never thought it would be this bad. Please note, I have not posted any comments on social media or contacted any governmental agencies or industry associations that might have any interest in my experience, to tell my story.
