    On 1/29/2022, I entered into a contractual agreement with the above-mentioned business. On the Terms and Conditions set forth by AC/DC Solar LLC it states in section xxiii. "10-Year Limited Roofing Penetration Warranty. AC/DC Solar LLC warrants Your roof against damage and water infiltration at each roofing penetration made by AC/DC Solar LLC in connection with the installation of the System and the surrounding area of each such penetration (collectively, the "Covered Roof Areas"). *AC/DC Solar LLC* will repair damage to Your roof and repair or compensate you for actual physical damage to your property resulting from any water infiltration in the event of failure or defects in the Covered Roof Areas."I am seeking for AC/DC Solar LLC to honor this stipulation in our contract and to repair my current water infiltration or provide services through another means to resolve this matter without it costing me any additional funds.

    I have a AC DC solar I got 2 years ago last september, This past year my electric bills have been going higher and higher, I do not believe my panels are working. I have tried calling ***** for ************* and I'm get no answer, I learned thru BBB that ***** went out of business, I make payments of almost $100.00 to Good leap each month, they tell me nothing regards to my warranty on this panels, since I got these panels, nobody has even came out and checked on them, or even serviced them as they told me they would. I am not eligiable for energy credit as they say I would get, I am on fix income. I got these panels thinking I would save on my light bills. but I'm not saving, and then on top of that making payments on panels that may not be doing me any good.

    I've recently learned that AC/DC Solar LLC, which installed my panels at my address in 2020, filed for ***** 11 bankruptcy, and as of June 2024 the case was dismissed. I can't get in touch with AC/DC Solar. Their number seems to be always busy or disconnected. I never received a letter from them informing customers what would be happening next. Can you provide any information on their status? Are they planning to go back into business? Being bought out by another company? I'm in limbo right now because if I need any service done to my system, as per their warranty, I don't know where to turn. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    We bought our panel in early 2023. for the 1st three months it wasnt working properly, we were paying the bank (*************) plus FPL. ***** also told us that once we filed our tax we would get a credit to offset the payment. I found out while filling my tax returns that I was misinformed and there is no rebates now my payment will increase. Now i was told by *** that the solar is not producing enough energy to sustain the house so now im paying two bills. In order for someone not from the company to look at it i would have to pay them. When i spoke to the bank they are saying i should call ***** to take it off knowing good and well that not possible because it will mess up the roof.

    10/08/2024 Hello, my name is ****** ********, I was scammed by AC/DC Solar system.I have been trying to find someone to help me. When I purchased the solar panels, I was ******************************************************************************************************* how I was going to save a lot of money not only saving ENERGY. She talked so fast and jumped all around showing me things about the Product she had another young lady with her and she was keeping my Daughter busy talking about what she was cooking. I didn't get a paper contract but she emailed me one. I wanted a paper contract it took me over a month to get someone to answer me. She told me I had 3 days to cancel the contract of course she came late on a Friday afternoon and after she was done it was late. I read the contract but not well enough. I did not realize they counted the day she came on Friday day 1, Saturday day 2, and Monday was my third day. I typed out a letter took it to the Post Office.For some reason, I looked at the contract again and found out I needed some paper from them to cancel. It was too late. My problem is I will be paying for the HORRIBLE MISTAKE I made until I am in my nineties. I AM on a very tight budget *********** bill has gone up, and my payments to Goodleap (the finance company) will go from $219.00 to $319.00 because I could not pay the extra money $38,218.27. By the time I pay them off, it will cost me $54,367. I am going to go bankrupt. Then I find out. ***** has filed chapter 11, they don't answer the phone. I don't know what to do with all that stuff on the outside wall if a hurricane comes. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME. Also, I found out that ******** has LAWSUITS against them. I called our State Attorney, ****** *****, her girl Friday did not help. they had just won a case in ***** against GOODLEAP for the same thing, And I just read about another elderly lady who had filed a complaint against ********. HER COMPLAINT was word for word same as mine.

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against AC/DC Solar LLC concerning a solar panel system I purchased and installed at my home. The details of my complaint are as follows:On 1/22/21, I purchased a solar panel system from AC/DC Solar LLC for a total cost of $38,474.94. I was verbally assured that the system would produce approximately 80% of my energy consumption. However, despite these assurances, the solar panels have consistently produced only about 35% of my energy needs, as evidenced by the attached records.In addition, the cost of installation, combined with ongoing electric bills, has resulted in a higher overall cost than if I had relied solely on traditional electricity. In 2023, my average monthly electric bill was $124.99, a figure that should have been substantially reduced by the solar panels.Furthermore, despite several complaints made to AC/DC Solar LLC within the first year, they attributed the inefficiencies to my home insulation and outdated appliances. To address these concerns, I invested in additional insulation and replaced most of my appliances, including a central A/C unit costing over $3,000. Despite these efforts, the issue persisted, and AC/DC Solar LLC did not offer to install additional panels as stipulated in the contract.Additionally, the installation of the solar panels has led to damage to my roof, with leaks occurring between the mounting bolts. While the contract includes a warranty for such issues, I am seeking to have the panels removed entirely and the associated debt of $33,323 (as of August 8, 2024) addressed.As I recently retired and am no longer able to manage the financial burden of this investment, I am requesting your assistance in resolving this matter. I seek relief from the debt associated with the solar panels and would like to explore options for either having the panels uninstalled or receiving compensation for the losses incurred.

    I went solar through AC/DC sometime at the beginning of last year, around February of 2023, we contracted for 30 YEAR payments, and a warranty and they were paid off in FULL by GoodLeap per my credit and a loan! My system as of two weeks ago started making a buzzing noise, Ive tried to contact them, the line is busy and hangs up. My FPL bill has already doubled, it's never made this constant strange noise before as of it's going to blow up? I'm a single mom of two small kids, I have no where to turn, I don't know who to call. And coming to file **** complaint I find out the business went bankrupt? How can that be so when GoodLeap paid them in full for all those accounts and customers like myself are continuing to pay monthly! Sounds corrupt and criminal to me, also when filing my taxes for this year my tax guy informed me I was lied to about a tax credit that Florida was supposedly offering to go solar so now my bill with balloon for a service that is not working properly or any longer and may be dangerous current! I need contacted immediately. I would like to now how we are moving forward with warranty, repair, or cancel the loan, remove it from my credit report as it stops me from getting ANY other loans at all for home repair, and come get your stuff off my roof thank you very much!

    Date of transaction was on 08/22/2022 Amount pay to them $39,165.02 They install my solar panels, they are not working at all and they under warranty, I have try to rich them for months and cant get a hold of them. Now Im stuck with a loan for the solar panels and my regular electric bill. I can not afford to pay both of them. I just want them to take this solar system off and return the money back to the company that gave me the loan for the solar system. The first time that the system was not working it took them over 4 months to fix it, and now is not working again for over 2 months. They scam me. Is not fair at all.

    I have issues with my solar system installed by ac/dc solar there is no answer after original contact stating they would come and inspect system not working it is still in the warranty period every time I attempt to call nothing but a busy signal. This has been going on for two months now there needs to be info on who will be providing service work
