I recently had to replace a faulty fan motor in my air conditioning unit, which thankfully was covered under warranty. I contacted Air Boca ************************* and they promptly sent a technician to assess the issue. The technician was professional and efficient, completing the replacement in less than 30 minutes. However, I was surprised by the hefty cost of over $500 for a seemingly straightforward fix. While I appreciate the quality of service and the convenience of having the issue resolved quickly, I expected a more reasonable price considering the warranty coverage. Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome, but I hope *** Boxa ************************ reevaluates their pricing structure for warranty repairs and labor.Review from Marcelo F.

I have a new AC installed by Air Boca in March 2020. After a year of checking the unit they actually wanted to sell me their maintenance program (good I did not buy it). Two years later AC is not working. I called them for a follow up appointment for repair but they refused to come. I spoke with Esther first. She told me that they don’t come to my building anymore because we are doing a “horrible” job in maintaining our cooling tower. I then went to check to my HOA regarding this. My building is a high end condo building by the ocean. Association told me that cooling tower is always maintained in a regular basis and recently was replaced entirely (a new one is in placed). I called back to AIR BOCA and told them this. Told them that what they say is not true. I spoke with Sofia this time. She then changed the narrative saying that their company decided not to service any building with a cooling tower ever again. She could not explain me why. She could not explain me why they try to sell me a maintenance program after one year of servicing either. Actually they called me on 9/21/21 and left a voicemail in my phone to schedule a service appointment. This was a very bad experience for me. Never happened something similar to this before. With any company. And I have being living in Boca Raton since 2006. Esther was rude and told me something completely untrue about my building cooling tower maintenance. Please do not hire this company ever. They do not stand behind their work or the product they sell. They also have a bad customer service support. They come with stories about maintenance issues in my well maintained building completely untrue. Don t ever trust this company. They don t deserve it.Review from Liam E

Air Boca is one of the worst companies I have dealt with, and I have had dealings with some bad ones in my 10 years in South Florida. I own 10 properties in the South Florida area, and am well familiar with how work should be carried out. I purchased two new AC systems, from AirBoca for 2 separate condos. Soon after having the second system installed I found it had a poor level of performance, upon further Investigation I noticed that the main unit piping that goes to the condenser was exposed to the elements, in other words there was no protective foaming placed on the pipes, as is the standard practice. With the air constantly condensing in the direct sun, this caused poor performance of the system. When I contacted Air Boca they refused to except that this was part of their installation responsibility, and informed me that there would be an additional installation & call out charged for placing a the piping insulation. I informed the owner direct that I would never do business with them again if the issue was not resolved, it never was, so I had my handyman do it instead. The bottom line is that they were chincing on the work and expecting people not to know better. Additional, and more serious to the first matter, is the aspect of the fraud. I purchased a 2019 unit in the year 2019 and paid for a new unit. Upon inspection, due to property sale, over the past few days it was discovered the air handler was a 2016 model, and the compressor was to 2019. These operators are crooks and I will go out of my way to make people aware of this. DO NOT USE. The company will also be hearing from my attorney.Air Boca Inc. Response

On May 5th, 2021, when you called us requesting free service on an Air Conditioning Unit we installed May 16th, 2019, we informed you that you were past the 1 year Labor Warranty and 1 yr First Company Parts Warranty and there would be a service charge.
As for the charge of fraud, if you referred to your RUUD Warranty/Registration Certificate with the full Model and Serial #, you would see that the Condensing Unit is a 2019 Air Conditioning Condensing Unit created by the RUUD Manufacturer's factory May 2019.
The Air Handler is a First Company system that was also created by the Manufacturer's factory in May 2019. We have both the Manufacturer's guarantee and the paperwork from both Manufacturers to confirm this.
The Proposal to Replace your Air Conditioning Unit details specifically that your Warranty was as follows;
10 Years RUUD Parts Warranty (expires 5/16/2029) for the Condensing Unit
1 Year Labor Warranty from Air Boca Inc (expired 5/16/2020)
10 years RUUD Compressor Parts Warranty (expires 5/16/2029) for the Condensing Unit
1 year First Company Parts Warranty (expired 5/16/2020) for the Air Handler
The AHRI Certificate of Product Ratings (The National rating system for all Appliances from Air Conditioning Units, Reifrigerator, etc) confirms the 14 SEER that we presented in your Proposal to Replace your Air Conditioning Unit. This guarantees that the combination of Condensing Unit and Air Handler performance is rated and maintains that performance rating of 14 Seer, exactly as we presented in your Proposal.
There are 2 First Company Air Handlers that exist with similar Model Numbers. The 24HX5R22 is the old First Company Air Handler that is illegal to install after 2016 due to using the old Environmentally Unsound Freon R22. The Air Handler that you have installed is the new 24HX5R410TXV that uses the new Freon R410, as demonstrated by our invoice from the Manufacturer and the Authorized Dealer Tropic and Gemaire.
As part of your installation, we performed two Complimentary Maintenance visits on 11/19/2019 and 9/15/2020. While we were there, you never once reported to us of a faulty or poor performance from your Air Conditioning Unit. As per code, not only did we install your Air Conditioning Unit correctly, but we provided complimentary Service past your Labor Warranty which had expired 5/16/2020 (we did your 2nd Complimentary visit 9/15/2020). We felt that it was important to provide this service for free and extend your time to have the service performed to maintain our high standard of excellence in customer service and just cause it was the right thing to do in the midst of a year with Covid-19.
We are deeply sadden that your are not happy with our services.
