We have reached out to Margies Interiors several times since we first purchased our condo and we have always been very happy with each process. Our recent project - new kitchen countertops and new countertop for our dry bar - was no exception. Jason personally took us to 2 vendors to help us choose the quartz and he was very flexible in meeting our scheduling of the installation. We are always pleased with the installation process and we really appreciate the installers being on time and answering all our questions. We will definitely use Margies Interiors again! My initial interaction on the phone with Jason was great. He was very nice and we set an appointment. I called on the morning of the appointment to ask him to be on time and it went to voice mail. 38 minutes before our appointment I received a call back from a lady who said that Jason was still out of town. She said she called because she heard my message on the message machine. I said that I had been sitting all morning at home waiting for Jason, and it was not professional to cancel at the last minute. She refused to apologize for canceling the appointment at the last minute, telling me that they were "very busy", and then hung up on me. When I wrote to Jason, he took the same position, defending the bad attitude of the lady who called. While I understand that changes can occur in one's travel plans, there is no excuse for not calling within a reasonable time to cancel, so that I can go about my day. This was simply a no-show. A simple apology for making me sit at home the whole morning would have resolved the whole matter.Carpet Barn & More, Inc. Response

Due to the Delta virus running rampant and a high percentage of flights being canceled or delayed, we became stuck in NC for a couple of days, and that lady (as he described) finally caught a flight so that she could arrive in Florida the evening prior to this appointment. Though I was personally aware of this appointment, we did not have his contact information with us in NC., as we didn't expect to get stuck out of state.
On the morning of the appointment he was contacted via phone so that the situation could be explained to him. He did not find the flight delay or the fact that we didn't have access to his contact information to be a reasonable excuse, and became very upset. When I finally arrived back to Florida, I called to apologize, however his attitude was not fair-minded.
We always do our very best to contact people "as soon as we are able", if we have to reschedule an appointment. Fortunately... it doesn't happen very often!

As I stated before, I called on the morning of the appointment to confirm Jason would be arriving. I was contacted 38 minutes before my scheduled appointment. The lady who called to cancel did not say anything about Jason having his flight canceled or being stuck out of town. She merely said "he is not back in town". Nor did she apologize for the inconvenience. When I stated that I felt it was inappropriate to cancel at the last minute, she told me they were "very busy", and then when I said that was not a reason to cancel, she hung up on me. Of course, if someone had called and explained the real situation and apologized for the last minute cancellation, I would have been completely understanding. But this is not what happened. When Jason did call me later, he spent most of his time defending the way the lady on the phone handled this. The issue is not with the facts, but the way I was treated in both conversations. A simple apology would have gone such a long way. I can assure you that Jason did not call to apologize. If he had simply apologized the issue would have been resolved and done with. Instead he called to defend the way I was treated in the initial conversation, and somehow made it sound like I was the problem person. Even in what he wrote here, there is still no clear apology, but he continues stating that I am somehow not "fair-minded." Again, a simple apology for canceling 38 minutes before the appointment is all that I ever asked for, without trying to blame me in the process.Review from Jane S

My husband & I would like to thank you, Jason, & everyone associated with Margie's Interiors. We recently completed renovation of our kitchen in Seminole, Fl.
In March of 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, we began designing & making plans for a new kitchen. Jason came at that time & gave us ideas, & an initial estimate. Being snowbirds, we left for home in May. Throughout the summer months & fall we communicated with Jason regarding our plans.
When the new year arrived, after considerable & complete demolition by us, we reconnected with Jason. Decisions regarding cabinets, quartz, flooring, & backsplash were all coming together.
Our design was a modern farmhouse style, including shaker style cabinets, wainscoting & faux wood beams. With each step along the way, we could see the vision appearing. We are very pleased with the quality of the cabinets, & the professional installation by Jesse! Our flooring was completed in 4 hours on a Saturday! The quartz install, by Maggie's has been beautiful. Each person involved in this kitchen took great pride in their work. Although I don't recall their names, the backsplash install went very smoothly, & I love the end result!
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this contractor. Jason listened to our thoughts & ideas, assisting in making our dream kitchen become a reality! Thank you! J*** & **** *****
