I had an afternoon appointment at this place for phlebotomy. It was very nice and clean (elevator in good shape) I would recommend taking the stairs. A sign in sheet but you can make an appointment ahead of time and they will take you straight back. One paper to sign and put my insurance card on file!!! Leave the bandage and wrapping on for a couple hours or moreReview from Danette G

The place is filthy, there was dry fecal matter in one of the chairs. That could be highly contagious!!! So look before you sit down!! I was getting ready to clean it up but I went to another room to get a chair. When I brought my sister home I told to throw every thing in the wash. Delaware has the worst health care system Ihave ever seen. The Cardiologist told my Dad that whatever he had he could live with. Took him to Penn in Philadelphia they found out what was wrong with my Dad, put a pacemaker in him and on a experimental medication not FDA approved. Mind you my Dad was in his mid 80's and they gave me more time with my Dad he past away at the age of 89. But they did not look at his gray hair or his age. When my Dad had fluid built up Christiana did nothing to remove it the way went in is the way he came out. My son went to pick up his Poppop and said Mom I can't fasten his pants.Review from Thomas B.

An absolute nightmare to deal with entry through the Emergency Room. Thirteen hours of a hall bed where demographic information, test results and doctor discussions are said openly within the hallway for all to hear. What a flagrant violation of patient privacy HIPAA laws! From a hall bed when the Emergency Department got even busier to what they call a Z bed. The Z bed consisted of over five hours in a public hallway on the fourth floor with no monitoring, facilities or care for a patient admitted with heart issues, To use a bathroom consisted of a 200 ft walk being held up by an attendant with a waist strap for a patient who could not walk on their own. The level of care provided was deplorable! Never again will Christiana Hospital be used. They should lose their license to operate!Review from Sasha M

Was here for a MRI on 24may 2023 as a transfer from the VA hospital and I was put in the hallway waiting and when I pushed the call button for a nurse so that I can get pain medication I was ignored completely. And was treated rudely by the ER technicians. I even requested to see a psychiatrist and my request was ignored. I needed an MRI due to falling down a flight of stairs and was ignored the entire time I was there and when I told them that I was leaving they tried to make me sign paperwork when they never treated me at all. I refused to sign anything due to not getting any sort of treatment (no mri, pain medication, nothing at all). And I got there are pins 620pm and even until after 1030pm no pain medication or anything was given to me even tho I was clearly crying my eyes out from all the pain that I was in.ChristianaCare Response

I am writing this as a concerned patient on 05/03/2022 at 1:00PM… I was seen 04/29/2022 at the Christiana Care Urgent Care in Middletown, DE and was supposed to have a prescription sent to my local pharmacy. After checking with Walgreens (my local pharmacy provided to Christiana Care Urgent Care) several times they stated they still had not received any prescription for me. After numerous attempts to reach someone on Urgent Cares customer service number with no answer, I walked into the providers office thinking I would get the issue resolved. One of the providers here named Robert Ginsburg told me in regards to my concerns that quote “I don’t have time to look up who you saw or where she may be and I don’t see an Rx so you can check in to be seen again”. I do understand this time in our healthcare systems is very busy and stressful, however I still found his comment to be very unprofessional. I was very upset by the comments he made to the point that I become hopeless with the situation and did not want to have him as my provider since I do not think he was taking me seriously based off his words… Currently still suffering with anxiety and no resolve to the issue.Review from Shay S

A ChristianaCare surgeon severed healthy tissue from my genitals without consent. This doctor's behavior exemplifies that of the malignant narcissist predator, as described by the series of nationwide investigative reports from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Also like all the cases described in the articles, there is clear evidence that the administration knew and did nothing to protect me and other patients from this man's particularly dark predilections. I went in for two procedures and he performed four. He had no right. The nurses called it the doctor's "Special." ChristianaCare knew but neglected to tell me, to protect me from this problem doctor. I'm furious! It is far past time to stop this predator who likes to mutilate incapacitated women. GRRRRR!Review from Cheryl S.

I understand hospitals are having serious difficulty with staffing issues and health issues however, this does not mean that the staff that works should ignore their patients needs. My father has been in the hospital for several days with minimal care and attention. Both sisters have had to ask nurses to do their job! Unacceptable!!! My father had no bath or even allowed to brush his teeth while there for several days. Also noted that they left his food outside his room for over an hour after it was delivered and the only way he received the cold meal was my sister went outside to ask if it was his and why it had been sitting there. They claimed they hadn't had time yet, and she clarified that it was delivered an hour ago. Finally, my dad is in the hospital for a viral infection and needs treatments to his lungs, the tubing was found lying on the floor and they tried to re-use it until my sister complained it had been contaminated (she is retired nurse). THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! We as paying customers deserved MUCH better care for the patients in that hospital no matter the situation and with the rising costs the service should be outstanding, not minimal at best. If these nurses are not prepared to do their jobs to the best of their ability, they should not have a job, especially when it comes to patient care. This is not my first issues with this hospital and apparently nothing has improved!Review from Dom

Today, I received a bill from Christiana Care for a procedure that was done 2 years ago. I find it completely unacceptable that they are unable to bill patients in a timely manner. I am sure such "surprise bills" destabilize some families financially. This is irresponsible.Review from Stacey R

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Money driven and zero on bedside manner. I’d advice Penn medicine completely different experience.
