On March 24, 2023, I bought a 2017 ford fusion from Marino auto sales. I put a $1500 down payment for this vehicle. On Thursday, 17 August, I took the car to the shop to get it, checked out to see what was the problem because I felt it wasn’t running correctly. They never gave me a proper diagnosis to what was wrong with the car and then proceeded to let me take it off the lot. They explained to me. They will contact the warranty company to see what my warranty covers me still not knowing exactly what was wrong with the vehicle . On August 19 when I woke up in the morning, the car would not start. I towed the vehicle to the shop and they finally explained to me that the engine had overheated and I need a new engine. Marinos took several days to send information over to the warranty company. My aunt and I wasn’t getting anywhere calling through the phone so we decided to come in the shop. when we enter the shop, we explain to them that the warranty company still did not get the information that they needed to either deny or approve the claim. Once we explained to them that when they decided to send over proper information to the warranty company. This morning I decided to call the warranty company to get an update on the claim they said the claim was denied due to neglect of the vehicle. Marino’s lied to the company saying that they told me not to drive the vehicle when that wasn’t said at all. I feel that they sold me a car knowing that it has issues and now they’re not trying to help me. Its only been 5 months. When I brought the car over to Marinos on Thursday, they shouldn’t have let me drive off the lot. Now i’m contacting this company to see if there was anything to do to resolve this issue or situation.
