I purchased a 2011 Ford Focus SEL from ******* *******, the owner and CEO of Choose Your Rides LLC on May 26th, 2022 in the amount of $3,843. This purchase included a Dealer Warranty for 90 days/4500 miles warranty, a performance warranty through Automotive Performance Warranty International. During the 40 minute drive home, the car had overheated and the engine was steaming. I had called Mr. ******* to repair this issue.Mr. ******* stated “i’m gonna take of it”. My A/C, which was not cold started hissing through vents and steam was pouring out of the hood of the car. I pulled over, and saw that smoke was steaming from the engine belt, where the compressor, alternator, and Radiator were located. I texted Mr. ******* about this issue as the coolant and A/C were still at issue, he did not reply or call me back. Then, while driving off I-95 the battery light came on, my power steering went offline, and my engine started overheating. The garage told me that the car has a broken tensioner, compressor, leaking radiator, dented rims, and condenser is broken. I informed Mr. ******* of this via a phone call. I stated that I intended on returning the vehicle, so he would need to arrange a tow company to bring the car back to his shop. I would have to call multiple times to no response to my calls or texts to get in touch with him. I texted him pictures of his dealer warranty and the issue with the vehicle to show that they were covered in the dealer warranty. He did not respond to me. Mr. ******* informed us that he would not be held responsible for repairs or allow a return on the vehicle and then claimed that he in fact never put any coolant in the vehicle at time of purchase.
