I would warn anyone from purchasing an Ashburn home. We have been in our home a little over a year. When we met Jordan Ashburn for our walkthrough before drywall, he didn't smile, he had no personality. It was like a burden on him to be there. At our final walk through I pointed out two trees that were almost dead and asked him to clear them. He said they were fine. Three months later we had to spend $1000 to get them cut down. There's one near our driveway right now that was killed when his company was digging the foundation for the house being built next to us. I've emailed him and Terry Hall and they won't even respond. I've emailed both of them many times over the last year and haven't received a response. Our yard, front and back, is filled with construction material and rocks. It's not level and has sitting water when it rains. We cannot grow grass until topsoil is brought in to level it. Our front swale stays full of water because it's not graded properly. The entire street needs to be regraded so rainfall drains properly into the overflow pond. He's ignored all requests, by all neighbors. When it rains, it fills so much that the water runs into the road. After it's done raining it sits until it dries out, in the meantime attracting mosquitos and frogs. If anyone reading this is considering an Ashburn home, run. Jordan hires the cheapest laborers he can find. He doesn't pay his contractors, so they won't come back and fix their work. He never comes by and has oversight while your home is being built. He's chasing a paycheck. Once you go under contract with him, you're on your own. He won't spend a penny of his money to make things right. Literally all he has to do is get rid of the rocks, level our yard with some topsoil and regrade the front so we can grow some grass and so the water will drain properly, but he can't be bothered. His warranty manager Rodger is overworked and severely underpaid. He can't even do his job because Jordan is so cheap.
