      I went to closing on my property on 12/10/21. The builder is Ashburn Homes they have a warranty that covers the home for 1 year form date of purchase. I have been emailing to have them come and address some of the issues all along the warranty representative telling me that they are not as big as Ryan Homes and that they were addressing other issues with other homes and would get to mine. I have windows that are leaking, and they said it's within the industry standard. I have a roof with no shingles or not property installed shingles and they said it is an act of nature. The company has been dragging their feet in hopes that my warranty would run put and they would not have to fix the items. I have asked for the warranties from companies that did they work, and they state they do not have any. They have failed to let me know who did what on the house.

      Good afternoon,

      We have been in contact with the homeowner.

      She just gave us a copy of her inspection report today.

      Our Warranty manager requested this several times and just received this document.

      The roofing company will be at her house on December 1st to address the roof issues.

      All other issues will be addressed.

      Our home was not completed according to the contractually agreed upon plans. These items were paid for and not received. These are NOT warranty issues. 1) defect in sidewalk that the builder has been aware of since 11/21. We’ve consistently asked for the repairs to be completed before our sod is placed and now we respectfully request the repairs be completed along with the cost to repair the damage made to the property that will be incurred. 2) we’ve never received shower doors and do not get responses on this. 3) we’ve never received the landscaping package in which we paid for. Based our experiences we do not believe a good faith effort is being made to address these issues by Ashburn Homes. We are prepared to file legal action based on breach of contract if these issues are not addressed immediately. Unfortunately we do not believe they will follow through with upcoming warranty issues and have been forced to fix costly mistakes. 4) driveway that was incorrectly laid with cracks and crumbling after one month. We did not want their asphalt contractor repairing the damages because they couldn’t do the project correctly the first time. We can document that defective materials were used. We respectfully request the cost to repair be reimbursed. Documentation can be provided.

      I closed on our new build home on March 18th with Ashburn homes. I met every aspect of the contract on my side, but during the entire process Ashburn has ignored any communication and is not meeting their side of the contract. I have had a sink hole under my front walk for two months and I have been emailing the warranty manager, Rodger Vogel, for two months seeking a repair. My three year old daughter feel into the sink hole this week. We are also to receive a landscape package per our contract which has not been installed. I send one to two emails weekly seeking updates on the punch list and warranty items and receive no response. I have full email chains will provide to complaint officer

      They have not answered anything to do with the landscaping that is in our contract.  We are to given a landscaping package.  We are almost 3 months post closing and I can not even get a response as to when it will be I stalled
