Arcadia Solar determined the roof leak was a result of their solar installation and stated they'd be making the repairs. It's been several weeks now, with many voicemails, emails and online service requests left and still no call back. Communication and doing what they say they'd do would be nice.Review from Keith M

Not even a 1 star. The company sends out sales reps who come onto our property, no solicitation posted, go around the building and try to gain access into our secured buildings by saying they are locked out or a delivery driver. They are aggressive, rude, pushy and unprofessional. All of our residents are told to call the county police to have them removed from the property.Arcadia Response

Arcadia currently has active representatives on the ground in states around the U.S. where homeowners are eligible for Community Solar. Each state has its own program and each member that signs up with Arcadia in these eligible areas has the opportunity to receive savings on their monthly utility bill. There are no sign-up or cancellation fees. The process to receive savings on their monthly utility bill is as simple as signing up with Arcadia. Once their solar project starts producing power, the member starts receiving savings. Arcadia does everything it can to be clear and transparent with our customers and prospective customers. This company is total SCAM. Complete bait and switch - uses deceptive practices to get people to sign-up. My bill has gone up at least 25-30% added on for each month. WITHOUT Arcadia, I am actually saving through my local utility. And 180 days to cancel?? What happens when a customer is behind on payments, what do you do?? Cut off their energy, right?...literally, pull the plug!! Can't the same action be taken when cancelling?! Sounds real shady! You will end up losing more $$$ as a result with this company. They’ve taken so much money from me! The rep that signed me up for it told me to pay national grid the first month because Arcadia wouldn’t. I did pay national grid but Arcadia still took my money! That money staid in limbo on my NG account until I had used enough of it to have a bill again. Then one time they charged my account 3 days sooner than expected and when they didn’t have enough funds to pull (I keep everything in savings) they sent me an email saying I was no longer in the program and to pay national grid directly and I did. When I had just enough money in my account after that they overdrafted my bank account causing the same issue again! And no one is quick to resolve the issue or give you your money back. Worst decision I’ve made because not once have I seen any savings on my bill!! Just frustration and money being taken that I need to pay other bills!!! Worst companyArcadia Response

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have extremely poor business practices. We were signed up and all seemed to be well, but Arcadia failed to pay PSEG. No notice, no calls, no e-mails, Nothing to let me know what was going on until I received a Shut off notice from PSEG. which I was stuck paying over $1,000. I have since canceled my account when them and informing anyone that I come in contact to STAY AWAY FROM THESE 3rd PARTY ENERGY COMPANIES --Arcadia Response

Please contact me if you have dealt with Arcadia's deceptive methods. Bait and switch. Initial contract promises 20% or better savings - right before 'activation' of your community solar they ask you to sign a new contract (max savings state 10%). Contract cancelling without notice. They cancelled payments to the energy provider without notice, possibly damaging your credit.Arcadia Response

Arcadia, That is your opinion. Not mine. The contract stated clearly different %'s - after weeks of asking, only an email (not adjusted contract) was sent. Then you out my payments on hold, without verifying or notification. The whole account was inaccessible.Glad I had a direct connection still with the energy provider. Your response times do not reflect a mature business practice. While the representative was nice, no one should have to wait weeks before a response for trivial matters. While we are at it - please provide confirmation and proof that all my account info has been deleted and removed (credit-card info included), as per the federal privacy and data lawsCustomer Response

Hi there, my experience with community solar farms is that I signed up since July 2023. 6 months ago.. Still waiting for that $50 gift card that I was offered by the rep because it was raining and we were so kind to let her in and offer water. I saw last month for the first time a credit of .30 something cents and this bill has .60 something cents. The bill from pseg is much higher even though I pay a third party company a set amount every month. Not sure if this program is helping anyone.Arcadia Response

This company is TERRIBLE! after several back and forth emails attempting to get an answer to my billing questions I was completely upset as they were never able to explain the issues. When I went to cancel they told me it would take 180 days to process my request! That is upsurd! I have never heard of a cancelation process that takes longer than 7 business daysArcadia Response

This timeline accounts for your account’s specific billing cycle, as well as the amount of time it actually takes for the utility to cease applying solar savings to your account. This cancellation timeline was presented in your Community Solar terms, agreed to at enrollment.
