      After I contacted ****** ******** regarding blinds, a sales person contacted me several times to come over. I had to reschedule a couple of times and finally said fine but only had 1/2 hour. It was quite rushed and I signed the papers and ordered the blinds. They told me it would be five weeks until they were cut and shipped. This was July 27, 2022. I did not receive my email confirmation of my order until August 2, 2022 to which I responded that I wanted to cancel the order. They told me I couldn’t as the blind were already cut and shipped (what happens to the five weeks?). They also told me I had only three days to cancel the order and it was past that. If it were 3 business days, that would have meant by august 1st. I did not receive the email order until august 2nd and requested to cancel it on the 2nd. Also, after doing some more research, I found their pricing to much higher than others and the quality far less. Also, the order said I was doing business with Affordable Closets. But I ordered blinds. I did more digging and found out it was actually ********* ****** I was likely doing business. They refuse to refund me my money. There seems to be something not quite right with the business. From the incorrect and misleading dates, to the questionable company I was actually doing business with, the and rushed appointment where they did not make it clear I could only cancel with in 3 days (not 3 business days) after I signed the papers, not after it was electronically sent to me.

      This is a purchase through ******. Affordable Closets/********* ****** does not have the ability to modify or refund this order.

      This has been explained to **** and contact information for ****** has been provided.

      We have contacted ******’s corporate office and they will have customer service call their member (****) to discuss this matter.

       

      At ****’s request a sales representative met with her while her children were at camp as to have less distractions and not be rushed.

      **** placed an order, signed the necessary ****** Contract and 3 Day Right to Cancel policy. 

      This information was provided in writing as well as explained verbally (see attached Copies). 

      The order was placed the morning after the 3 day right to cancel period was over. An Order Creation/Receipt of the transaction was provided (see attached copy).

       

      5 weeks is an estimated time to complete the order

      Our company name is Affordable Closets Inc, ********* ****** is a DBA under Affordable Closets. We partner with ****** to provide high quality Custom Window Fashions to their members

       

      The order was placed the morning of Aug 2nd.

      On Aug 2nd at 10:58pm **** sent an email to a Do Not Respond email requesting to cancel, I did not see that.

      I received an email from her to our business email the morning of Aug 4th. 

      I called our manufacturer to check the status of the order, they had already manufactured the shades.

      The order was in transit with ****** on Aug 5th.

       

      We have offered to provide installation of the products ordered. This offer has been refused.

      On Aug 2nd at 10:58pm **** sent an email to a Do Not Respond email requesting to cancel, I did not see that.
      I received an email from her to our business email the morning of Aug 4th. 

       

      That is within the 3 day window. 

      Akso, it was only a few days ago that they mentioned this was ******’s responsibility. They did not say this initially. I have been in touch with ****** ******** and they are saying it is Affordable Closets responsibility. 

      I just want my money back and a refund of $3400 for a product I don’t want want and has not been installed is not unreasonable.
