On December 17, 2024, I financed a vehicle through ******** ********* ******** from Eazy Auto in Connecticut. Despite signing a contract, making a down payment of $1,500, and securing a loan through ********, I have yet to receive the vehicle. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, but both parties have failed to provide a solution.

    Key Issues:
    1. Failure to Deliver Vehicle: Eazy Auto has made continuous excuses for why the vehicle has not been shipped. Each time I follow up, the dealership provides a different reason for the delay.
    2. ******** ********* ********’ Lack of Assistance: Although I have reached out to ******** ********* ******** multiple times regarding this fraudulent transaction, they have stated that they cannot take action until Eazy Auto provides an update. Meanwhile, I am being charged for a vehicle I do not have.
    3. Revoked Business Status & F-Rating: After further research, I discovered that Eazy Auto’s business license was revoked on the same day I purchased the vehicle (December 17, 2024) and that the dealership has an F-rating with the BBB. This raises serious concerns about ******** ********* ********’ failure to vet the businesses they finance and their unwillingness to assist in resolving fraudulent transactions.
    4. Unjust Financial Obligation: I have already made my first car payment for a vehicle I do not have. I am unable to cancel this contract and move forward with purchasing a reliable vehicle because ******** refuses to take action.

    Resolution Requested:
I am requesting that this contract be canceled immediately and removed from my credit report, as I have not received the vehicle. Additionally, I request a full refund of the $1,500 down payment I sent to Eazy Auto.

I bought a vehicle for $1800 from easy auto and it broke down by the time I got back to my house and Ezra P****** came and picked the car up and did not refund my money. He actually re-sold the car already. Also, he did give me a check, but never signed it and 20 times myself and my family has tried to meet with him to get the check signed and he has never could, because he kept making excuses . We have pictures and videos of all documentation and even him trying to write a check that he never signed.

Bought a vehicle on April 25th from1 this dealership and the very next day the check engine light came on. He so call fixed it but light came back on the nect day again. I have had nothing but issues with the owner. He is full of broken promises, just kept stringing me along. He hit my credit twice because he said he was going to look for another vehicle for me but never did. The vehicle cost $6000 according to my I paid $9000 for a 2008 Honda Pilot with 193k miles and now took it to our mechanic to find out its a transmission problem & its going to cost another $3,500 to fix it. In addition during the test drive he said they were putting on new tires but never did. Kept saying they were not in shock. WORST customer service ever. He has not made any effort to fix the situation despite multiple attempts to contact him & refuses to help me now.

On May 27th I purchased a vehicle from Eazy Auto, wigned all the paperwork including a 30 day used vehicle warranty on which I wrote 3 things that needed to be addressed before I took the vehicle. I did not take copies at the time, due to him needing to calculate taxes/fees. We agreed I was going to pick up the vehicle once work was done. He asked me when I was going to pick it up multiple times and I asked if the work was done, his mechanic was sick, but it would be first thing the following week. A week later he tells me it's all set. When I get there, I notice the alignment wa no better than before. I checked the mileage and it wasn't different from when I left it. I messaged him that day to ask for the alignment paperwork, no response. Followed up and he told me the next day he would send it "shortly". I stopped by,but he lost it. Told me to go to town fair tire, where he took it. I spoke with the store manager and he confirmed that Ezra nor my vehicle had been there. Calls to him were ignored. I went back to Eazy and he said it's my problem now. I also asked him to send the paperwork I signed noting the issues that were to be fixed as well as the warranty info. He said he gave it to me, which he didn't and refuses to send a cope. The only paperwork he left in the car was my registration and insurance card. I have asked countless times.for copies of the paperwork. What he's doing is wrong and now I have a car I paid for that needs work before I can even drive it. The other two issues I listed that needed to be looked at he claimed "are noises from sitting too long" so I know he didn't do anything. Please help me get this taken care of. This guy is running scams - just like when he ran my card for the car he didn't tell me about a fee due to using the machine. When I asked him he admitted he didn't tell me and took it off the price, now I think he's holding it against me. I have text messages

I purchased a used 2012 *** ** from this dealership on 9/9/2023 from the owner Ezrah. He kept promising delivery of the car week after week and every week there was another excuse as to why the car wasn't ready. Just before week 7, I took the car because I discovered that the owner was driving the car to the extent of putting an extra 800+ miles on it but he would neither register the car as he was supposed to nor would he give me temporary dealer plates in order for me to drive my car. I called the car finance company multiple times because they were calling me for my monthly payments when I had not yet even driven my car because without the plates and registration I could not legally drive. The owner of ****** **********, the finance company, met me at my local *** to get my car registered, despite the dealers negligence of his responsibilities, and I paid out of pocket for my own registration. The owner of the finance company, ****** *********** assured me that the dealer would reimburse because it was indeed his responsibility to do so and as of December 13, 2023, he still has not. I never received a reimbursement even after several phone calls to the finance owner and his promises to connect with the dealer Ezrah to have him pay me back. I drove my car for 3 and 1/2 days before my dashboard alerted me to the car having no oil, no engine fluid, and other issues which I later discovered was a crack in the engine fluid filter and the automatic brake system was stuck on "ON" and caused the car to now be undriveable without a $400 part and more labor. The owner of the dealership has not been helpful in this endeavor and neither has the finance company or the owner of it. I am stuck with a $20,000 lemon that I cannot drive and am paying insurance for and payments for so I am submitting a complaint.

    Business Response

This is in response to ******** ******* complaint. Everything that was wrote was a blatant lie. First off to address the delay in the vehicle being registered. I went to register the vehicle immediately after the deal was done and was unable to do so because ms. ****** had back taxes and also her boyfriend only had a prison id who was also on the loan. in the state of *********** you can not register a car while having back taxes. I also informed them that the jail id was not an acceptable form of identification. I provided ***** ******* ******** ******* boyfriend with the information from the *** that specified what exactly were acceptable forms of id. He still insisted on using his jail id no matter what i tried to explain to him.It took ms ****** over 2 months to come up with the money tp pay her back taxes so only after it was paid was i able to even attempt to register the vehicle again. If needed im sure i can get you dates or some type of reciept to confirm when her back taxes were actually paid to show that it correlates to what im saying. After she paid her taxes i did try to register the vehicle again with the jail id as requested by ******** ****** and ***** *******. To no surprise the *** would not register the car with a jail id being used as identification. For some reason ms ****** believed i was making this up so then she called into ****** ********** to try to say i refused to register her vehicle. The team at ****** ********** explained to ms ****** all that was needed to register the vehicle was for mr ******* to get an proper id form. Ms ****** and Mr ******* were so against getting proper id for whatever reason that ****** ********** actually ended up taking him off the loan so the vehicle could be registered. My rep Edward Shillinger stepped in and offered to deal with this customer and meet them at the *** as a courtesy due to the fact they were being very demanding and unreasonable at the same time. Once mr ******* was taken off the car was able to be registered. If the taxes were paid from day 1 and i had proper identification then the car would have been registered immediately. The vehicle was in perfect working order when it was transferred over to the customer. I actually spent over $5,000 in repairs going through that vehicle to make sure it was 100% good to go before i sold it. Ms ****** has never tried to even reach out to me after the vehicle was registered. The car was not a lemon the vehicle was perfectly fine. Ive actually seen it drive through the neighborhood.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Its inflammatory. I do not own a business so the personal innuendo's do not matter to me. I do not know this business owner other than to have purchased a lemon from him and he does not know me outside of the interaction with this vehicle. I do not believe that asking a car dealer that I am purchasing a car through questions about when my vehicle will be ready for me is being unreasonable. The registration did not come into play until the very end of my dealings with Ezra because I needed time to pay my car taxes, as discussed in our initial meeting, and he needed time to fix the vehicle. He was informed when the taxes were paid so that he could then go to the *** and register the vehicle as that is the dealerships responsibility. He instead chose to be a shyster. I thought by filing a complaint with BBB then he would have the integrity to do the right thing by his business and do the right thing by his customers. I was wrong. I never contacted Ezra again after my car was registered by me because he agreed to meet me at the *** on November 2, 2023 so that I could see why the car "couldn't" be registered for myself and he did not. He sent Edward S********** so that is who I called afterwards when I didn't get the return for the expenses paid as promised for paying for the registration myself, (still haven't been reimbursed). The rotors on the rear tires were so rusted that they could not be reapplied after the mechanic fixed the parking brake actuator.  I or my children could have been seriously injured or worse if the vehicle was, as Ezra stated in his response, still being driven. I would not even know what these car parts were if, as Ezra stated in his response, had put over $5000.00 worth of work into the vehicle. With that being said, as well as from Ezra's response, I no longer have any faith that he will amend this deviance. I will fix my vehicle myself and never buy from a shotty, black-owned, used car dealership ever again. God will handle the rest on his own accord. Thank you for attempting to help me find a solution to this nightmare.
