I would give them no stars if possible. I just received my ***** bill for last month and it is $947 because Solar Farms had not sent the bills for their portion of my electric to ***** since last September. So unknowingly I have been under-paying my electric bill and now I am arrears with *****. They were supposed to save me money on my electrical bill.

We have spoken with ***** and they have acknowledged that this is an issue with their billing system and not an issue caused by Solar Farms New York. Our counterparts at ***** have let us know that they have reached out to you back on January 22nd to clarify that this issue was their fault and that the complaint should be directed at ***** rather than Solar Farms New York. In this day and age it should not take more than a month to cash a check. I waited well over 30 days for several payments to be processed. There should be online payment availability. I have been given excuse that NYSEG doesn’t work with any solar providers on payments but will in the future. I just received mail from another company that works with NYSEG. Time to cancel. I refuse to leave 2 payments unprocessed. This is unacceptable.

Due to additional mail stress on USPS we’ve seen delays in our invoices being sent to members, as well as delays in receiving check payments from our members. We know this is something that’s out of your control, so since March 2020, we have waived late payment fees for all members. We understand that it can be frustrating to see checks go undeposited for long periods of time, and we’re hopeful that this trend will change soon. Regarding electronic payments: Solar Farms New York offers autopay for all members through both direct debit and credit cards. Members that enroll in direct debit autopay receive a $25 credit on their next Solar Farms New York bill.
