      I purchased custom blackout shades for over $3300. I consulted with at least 5 different professionals over the course of 3 months. I was forced to pay for the shades BEFORE install, which is part of their scheme. After installation, the shades were not even vaguely up to the standard I was guaranteed. I was wildly mislead by all consultants and paramount details about these shades were withheld from conversations. Specifics below: - I was guaranteed it would be 90% blackout with the exception of slight light coming in ONLY from the sides of the shades. Instead the shades do not even cover the full window. - I was never told that light will come through the top because there is no cover over the valence of the shade - The shades were measured incorrectly and too short for the windows. Nobody is even willing to adjust this - I was guaranteed the shades will be flush with the moulding of the window, and they are at least 1.5 inches away from the window After talking with the manager of the store, she told me that she will not refund me and they wont re-install, but is asking ME to come up with a solution. They are leaving me no options intentionally and I will not stand for this type of service and lack of product quality. These price points are FAR too high for such results.
