I purchased a shotgun from Connecticut Shotgun on 4/6/2023. The shotgun was advertised on **** ************* as "brand new, in the case with all the accessories." The gun was shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer and I took possession on 4/11/2023. On examining the shotgun it was obvious that it was not brand new. The barrels and action were both fouled. The case had obvious signs of use, and missing accessories were three choke tubes, the choke tube wrench, two snap caps and the spare trigger. I contacted Shayne, the only person with whom I had contact and was told they would search for the missing parts. After no hearing back from Shayne I re-contacted vis email and was told they could not find the parts. My main concern at this point was for the missing choke tubes and choke tube wrench. I was told, " "We will not be issuing any type of refund for the choke tubes, I can send you out what I have, which I believe is extremely generous." I have emails documenting this transaction and correspondence as well as a copy of the **** ************* listing describing the gun as brand new in the case with all accessories. This is fraudulent advertising as well as fraud as they decline to make me whole. The choke tubes and wrench are available from ********at a cost of $50 each and the choke tube wrench is $29.Initial Complaint

I ordered a firearm that came with a $300 in store credit for specific store merchandise. I ordered the $321.00 dollars worth of merchandise. They charged my cc card for $21.00 on the 10th of January yet the merchandise was never sent. I think they just do not want to honor their commitment of the $300.Business response

The products that the client ordered were out of stock. Here is the note from his file.
customer called in on 2/3 and i informed him that the product wasn't available. He said he would call back when his mind was made up on what he'd like to do.

I purchased an item on 2/8/21. After receiving confirmation of the purchase and that the item was in stock and being shipped, nothing was ever delivered. I followed up with more emails and calls and was once again assured the item was being shipped. When the item still did not arrive, I called again and was told the item was out of stock. It has been 5 months and I have still not received a refund or any response from the seller.Business response

We refunded the customer on 6/30/21. We appologies for the delay in processing the order, staffing has been incredibly difficult, we are working to improve our client services.
