    My chickens are now 8 weeks old and growing so fast! They've been an absolute joy - I've never raised hens from chicks and it was a great experience. I highly recommend My Pet Chicken.

    Ive ordered from chicken multiple times. And recently this last time this year I ordered 19 chickens. Four of them ended up being roosters. I had emailed the company and told them and they had asked for pictures of the roosters, 3 were of the same breed and so they looked identical. So the company told me that I only sent them pictures of three roosters and not four and they weren’t going to credit me anything at all. I bought sexed hens and they did not deliver what they promised. Needless to say I ended up letting go of the roosters and I will no longer consider my pet chicken a good place to order from. In fact, I will never order from them. my advice to you is to order from somewhere else maybe from backyard chicken

    We’re truly sorry to hear that your recent experience with us didn’t meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be to receive unexpected roosters, especially when you’ve ordered sexed hens, and we sincerely regret any frustration this has caused.
    After carefully reviewing our email history and the photos provided, you meant to send us a photo of the last rooster since you were unsure which breed it was. We followed up multiple times, however we didn't receive any updates for that breed.
    We’d still love to make this right within our policy. If you can confirm which breed the final rooster was, we’ll be happy to issue the appropriate refund.
    We truly appreciate your past business with us and are sorry to see you go. Should you ever reconsider, we’ll be here to help in any way we can.

    First time buyer... I'm very happy. I bought 8 chicks. Unfortunately 4 only survived. I ordered 3 more to replace 3 out of the four. That would come the next week. I upgraded the chicks to a bigger brooder. MPC got back with me. About my loss. Asking, what would I like to do? I asked could I replace the ones I loss. MPC said no problem. So, chicken math. I have 7 doing great and 7 coming in June. Oh well thank you MPC

    Two years ago I purchased two D'Uccle started pullets to be house pets. They have turned out to be the most attentive, needy, cuddly pets I have ever had. They are healthy and active. If I sit, they are immediately in my lap. They demand attention, and the food on my plate!! Got more than I expected and hope to have them for many more years.

    Ordered 8 chicks mix and all came healthy, except for one that seems to have a birth defect. A crooked beak. Eating/drinking well, but concerned for when she gets older.

    Regarding the chick with the crooked beak (often called "scissor beak" or "cross beak"), we completely understand your concern. While this condition is typically a developmental issue rather than a birth defect, many chickens with a mild to moderate cross beak can live long, happy lives with just a bit of extra care. It’s great to hear she’s eating and drinking well—that’s a positive sign!

    I ordered 2 snaplock coops that were nearly 1500. All metal hinges rings etc are completely rusted as if these were used reboxed and shipped to me. I will have to replace all of it bc that's easier than returning these. Will never purchase again.

    We are terribly sorry that you have had a bad experience with your order! Your satisfaction is important to us and one of our Flock Care Specialists will be reaching out to help you. While your coops were shipped new and unused, we recently discovered an issue affecting some coops in this batch. A few of the galvanized hardware components may show signs of corrosion or surface rust. The good news is that this is purely cosmetic—it does not impact the coop’s safety, structure, or performance in any way.
    We are in the process of updating our website along with offering the coop at a discounted price; we will make this right for you. Please accept our most sincere apology for any inconvenience or frustration you may have experienced!
