      Got completely scammed and out of $250 from this company. We booked for a large king suite for two nights for anniversary and when we arrived to hotel, we were told they only had a standard room available with two small beds. It was an awful experience and disgusting hotel. Also got charged $250 deposit which took the only money we had left to spend on food and activities so we were screwed. We tried calling several times and for hung up on and never connected. Emailed several times with no response. Finally today receiving a response but looks like a generic template email they send to all inquiries. Extremely angry, hotel tried to refund but could not refund due to being booked through traveluro and we cannot even contact traveluro. What a joke and a scam.

      Traveluro is a scam. We got to our hotel but did not get a room despite having confirmed with the hotel and the company. Turns out the company canceled our room after we confirmed. They never picked up the phone or called back. We had to look for another room during a festival week.

      They are the worst company. They lied about the hotel having a certain thing and when I got there they didn't have it plus there was an added fee they didn't tell me about. I called or tried calling them several times only to ne disconnected each time. The hotel let me get out of the deal and I finally got ahold of them, jumped through all their hoops and they still refused to refund me my money.

      This place Traveluro is an ABSOLUTE SCAM!! They FAKES BOOKED A RESERVATION AND TOOK MY MONEY!!!! Never EVER BOOK WITH THEM. Unless you have money to give away!!!!

      Booked a hotel through traveluro. The hotel was never booked, and they charged me for the night. Do not use traveluro, they are a scam

      I put the correct dates to process my hotel reservation; but when processed through their site the reservation confirmation date was incorrect within minutes I contacted the site to make a change.The 24 hour phone number put me on an eternal hold; and then systematically cut off the call repeatedly. I also sent several emails and I received one standardized AI response saying that they don't issue any changes or refunds: "We regret to inform you that your request for cancelation and refund has been denied due to the strict policy of non-refundable (sic)." In fact, the hotel had space and I did stay there last week booking through a different site; but the only response I got is that they could not make any modifications despite the fact that this is a processing error on their side. Needless, to say I would never recommend to use their site. I asked my credit card company to dispute the charges since this company is a scam.

      They are the worst travel company.. we booked 11 nights in Orlando after I booked we asked them if all fees were included they told us yes. When we arrived at the hotel we were informed of another 200.00 In resort fees and 100.00 deposit. Due to my mother in law booking the room for us and we had no money we were unable to stay at the hotel. We tried to get a refund through the company but they refused due to there policy but we were unable to stay. We then had to drive 1.5 hours home to tell my mother in law to dispute the charge with her credit card company since we could not stay. They are honorable we were not the only people that this happened to. We only want our money returned to my mother in law and that they make customers aware of the extra fees

      Scam. I paid them $112 for one night at ****** ******* ********, and they didn't pay the hotel. Kept trying to get my money back but they don't answer the phone or respond to emails. Total scam.

      I used this company to reserve a room for a VFW conference. Due to an accidental overbooking, the hotel management authorized a refund of the room. I specifically explained to the hotel that I had purchased a non-refundable ticket. However, the management assured me that with their authorization not only could the room be refunded, but that Traveluro was obligated to do so with hotel authorization. I called Traveluro and explained the situation and provided the hotel manager's name and number for confirmation. I was told my complaint would be submitted for investigation. I received an email within 24 hours to which they denied the refund based on the fact that they "only have one confirmed booking under my name." I called a second time to explain that I never claimed a double booking under my name and again provided the name and number of the manager authorizing the refund. I specifically asked if the hotel manager was correct in her statement that the room must be refunded if authorized by the hotel, to which I was told, Yes! I was told they would contact the hotel manager and get back to me. I received another email denying the refund because they "don't have any duplicate booking of this reservation." I called a third time and spoke to the same person and asked that the bogus claim of a "double booking in my name" be removed from my refund request. I asked to speak to a managing supervisor, who of course was not available. I again asked them to contact the manager of the hotel who authorized the refund and asked that one of Traveluro's managers contact me directly. After three failed attempts, two weeks later I'm still no closer to obtaining a refund than when I started. I do understand my original purchase was non-refundable and I wouldn't have expected one had the hotel not offered. But since they did and they apparently have the authority to do so, then I expect Traveluro to comply.
