We contracted with Suggs Electric to install a generator for our home. We put down a deposit of $6,109.65 and was told it would take time to get the generator because of supply chain problems. However, after we followed up with several times without getting a response, Tony Suggs (owner of Suggs Electric) finally contacted us back and told us because of business and personal reasons, he could no longer proceed. We asked for our money back and he said he will pay us but that he couldn’t do immediately because of mortgage and truck problems. We followed up several more times and then received a text message from Tony Suggs that his phone is no longer in service and that can only accept text messages. We sent several texts messages after that requesting our money back and never heard back. Attached is the contract we signed. Would greatly appreciate your help in getting our money back in the amount of $6109.65. Also, below is what Tony Suggs had texted us: Good morning **** You all are very patient and kind individuals. In the last 9 or 11 months I have had a break down on my van and start using my other car. Hoping it was going to get better but the opposite. I am saying all this that I have to close my business after working 35yrs. So I will surely pay you back for the generator which I was glad I didn’t purchase it at the time and dropped it off as I usually would do. Once I get some work for a company I will be in a position then to start sending money to you for the money you gave me. Yes I am embarrassed this has happen to me never before in my company and I again apologize and get those funds back to you
