Horrible experience. After using autopay for a few months (which was also a pain to set up), I decided to move my auto loan to a company with better rates and better service (my car dealership unfortunately stuck me with BCI, don't let the same happen to you). Despite completely cancelling my policy, I was still charged for the next month's autopay. It is now a month later and I have yet to receive a refund, despite several conversations with people assuring me it would be taken care of immediately. After being told the full amount would be automatically refunded directly into my account, I got some other person on the phone today who told me a check was mailed out to me a week ago from Connecticut. When I asked why a check from Connecticut would take more than a week to arrive in Massachusetts, the woman told me "maybe you have a slow post office." Their bills always seemed to arrive on time, though. Also—my new financier has yet to receive my car's title from BCI. Company is a total scam.

*** ******* set up automatic recurring payments through our web site. Payments made through our web site are managed by the customer. When the loan was paid in full *** ******* would have needed to cancel the recurring payments. Unfortunately, that did not happen and another payment was taken. When *** ******* notified us of this the next day, we asked him to provide documentation to support the payment cleared his bank account and we would refund the payment to him. We have no record of receiving that information from our customer. As a result, we waited our normal period for issuing refunds to customers when the payment is made using non-certified funds. A check was mailed to the customer in the afternoon mail on 7/21. Under normal circumstances it would seem reasonable for mail to get from ******** ** ******* **** in a couple days. It has been widely covered in the news that the post office has been experiencing delays in delivery. When *** ******* contacted our office on 7/26, we tried to communicate with him however the call was suddenly cut short while trying to explain to him what we could do to correct this. A follow up email was sent to the customer explaining the chain of events and asking for him how he would like us to move forward, no response has been received by the customer at this time. As for the title, this is an electronic title with the state of Massachusetts and it was released to the new finance source though the **** *** web site 10 business days after the loan was paid in full as is our normal policy. Unfortunately, once we have initiated the release it is up the the timing of the *** to produce the title and mail it to the appropriate place. We regret that we did not meet *** ********* expectations and would have appreciated the opportunity to try to correct the situation for him.
