I bought an extended warranty thru this dealership and worked with Emma A***** She is great to work with. Helped me through all my detailed questions. Quick to respond to any thing I asked. I recently needed a part/service for my Ford Explorer. My Local Ford Dealership advised me that my Extended Warranty would NOT cover this issue. It seemed strange to me so I contacted Lombard Ford Warranty customer service directly. Jack assured me that this part/service was in fact covered by my Extended Warranty and the Dealership was using the wrong codes. I went back and forth with the Dealership as they were still insisting that this issue was not covered. Finally the Service Director at the Dealership agreed to call the actual Insurance Company directly. Turns out that this issue IS COVERED!!! Thanks to both Jack and Emma for your help and kindness! This saved me $700.00+. It's unfortunate that I couldn't get the service that I needed from my local Dealership without stomping my feet and questioning their judgement.Lombard Ford, Inc. Response

I was pleasantly surprised when I called Lombard Ford Warranty Dept. to inquire about a Ford ESP warranty for my 2020 Ford Escape. The same person answered my call that I had purchased a Ford ESP warranty from for my 2003 Ford F-150 in 2004 that I traded in last year on my new Escape. John (Jack) G***** was the same pleasant person. He helped me decide on the warranty that I needed. I saved about $800 on the Ford ESP from Lombard Ford over the Ford Protect Warranty that I was offered by Ford. The two warranty’s are exactly the same. Jack explained to me that Ford allows Lombard Ford to sell the warranty because of the high volume that they sell. If you have a Ford or Lincoln call Jack.Lombard Ford, Inc. Response

When you make an appointment, "there is no set schedule, expect to lose your vehicle for 2-3 days" words straight from the mouth of the owner himself. Do they tell you that when you make the appointment? No....do they give you a courtesy call? No....do they blame shift and try to make it your fault they have only one tech that is good enough to look at vehicles, YES!!!! Very unprofessional and rude, especially the owner Rob. His vehicle came in for the second time with a check engine light and a code that needed a senior master tech to work on in order for it to be covered by Ford warranty. I was bringing it into the shop yesterday afternoon but he picked it up before I could get it in. I never blamed him for anything. I apologized that we didn't have time to get it in the day before but 2 jobs that our A tech had already been working on took a little longer due to a parts failure. He didn't like that answer and kept screaming and then hung up on me. Since then he has been writing poor reviews and complaints. Drew P**** Service Manager Lombard FordCustomer Response

Yes Drew I have been writing poor reviews and complaints. That's what happens when you mistreat customers. A courtesy call would have been nice. Not having the owner come on and tell me I should expect to lose my vehicle for 2-3 days for a diag. Not once did any of you tell me that when I made an APPOINTMENT!!!! I even called at the end of the first day and told the service representative that I needed the truck by noon the next day and she said it would definitely be done by then. I can't afford to have my truck sitting in a parking lot while you guys feed me excuses why it hasn't been looked at. It's always "we were just bringing it in" after you get called out for it. Hopefully this will get you guys to pick up a phone and call your customers and explain situations to them instead of thinking everyone's time is expendable. I had a minor issue that was no fault of Lombard Ford. I reached out and Emma was able to correct it. Her customer service skills were outstanding. She seemed to have a real interest in helping me, and that doesn't seem to happen very often anymore when it comes to customer service.Lombard Ford, Inc. Response
