I took my camper in to have a small hole in the roof repaired. I was given an estimate of $2787.75. I had to take them a key and saw Todd using a scraper and utility knife to cut away some plywood that had gotten wet. They called the insurance company to tell them they found 9 more "Pin holes" The insurance gave him an extra $984.85. I paid my part and picked the unit up on 12/22/2020. The next morning I looked at the roof and there were 10 LARGE ugly patches. He came to talk to me on the 23 and was rude and called me a liar about one of the patches being there before. He did not replace the plywood so there is nothing between the crappy patches and the inside. The inside was suppose to be a new roof and there were scuffs dirt and crappy workmanship. He did take the camper to fix the inside but only fixed a couple of the things. He has made no attempt to do anything about the outside roof. I had people with me both times we talked in person. Please feel free to call me for more infoBusiness response

When you brought the key over you saw Todd with a scrapper & utility knife cutting away some plywood that had gotten wet. We have never had a Todd working for us at DM RV Repair so I’m not sure who you were talking about.
Your popup had inside ceiling water damage, there are no replacement roofs available for your 2007 popup. We removed the roof, canvas, lights and such to be able to remove the damaged luan ceiling panels & replaced with 3 new luan panels. This repair covered the hole in the ceiling. We then reinstalled everything that was take off for the repairs. The roof outer shell is pre-formed, then foam insulation is then added and then the luan inside ceiling panels that have a thin plywood backing with the decorative ceiling panel attached.
At closer look of the roof top that is when the additional pin holes were discovered. Don called you with 2 options- caulking the pinholes but not a permanent fix OR put roof tape patches & seal edges for a better lasting repair. You opted for the patches. Don also let you know that the patches would NOT blend into the roof, they would be obvious. There were only those 2 choices for repairing the roof top & you chose the patches.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because :I am posting here because I got no resolution from you in person. !st you took the camper back to fix the things you agreed to fix on the inside. You used chalk to cover the marks on the new ceiling. No replacement tank, no replacement of the counter your guys stepped on, the hooks that held up the curtains were screws put in tight to the wall. Pin holes are not 3x3 ugly patches one of which is a 3x 3 corner tear that is so soft you can push it down 1/4" A hole so big you used a washer to fill it . I was not given a choice on the "PinHoles" I could have used Flexseal to cover them. You turned a nice little camper into something I cant get 1,000.00 out of. You called me a liar when I had people with me that knew this camper and tried to tell you they knew it before you "Repaired" it.I want my money back to get it fixed right

I'm sorry you are rejecting the facts. There was no chalk used in your camper - caulking is what is used in the RV industry to seal. What replacement tank are you referring to? The counter could not be replaced as your camper is a 2007 and parts from the manufactures of RV units as only available for maybe 2 to 3 years not 14 yrs. We did however repair & re-support the counter that was broken - however it was not stepped on. The softness in the roof is from being sun baked - again this is a 14 year old camper. I'm sorry that you don't remember the conversation on the repairs but you were given options, we repaired as you requested. FlexSeal does not work - we have had other customers try their own repairs before and that product only makes it worse. You were never called a liar in any of our conversations. I'm not sure what you are meaning that other people knew the camper before it was repaired.
