      I first hired this company on September 13 of 2022 to roof, side and skirt my home. And roof and paint my shed. Their price for this work was $23,427.69. They hired subcontractors subsequently. The roof had to be put on twice and is still deficient. However, the company has offered to put ventilation in. But not fix any of the other deficiencies on the roof. The subcontractor ********* contracting that was hired to do the siding and the skirting and the shed was paid $980 to paint the shed. That job was never completed. was paid $250 cash for additional work and was paid $10,192 for the siding , replacement of windows, a door, and the skirting. When I found deficiencies in some of these areas I was met with unprofessionalism and told that he doesn’t like being told what to do and he wasn’t going to fix anything. Majestic roofing touts an A+ BBB rating. When I tried to hold them accountable for some of the things that I have discovered are not up to code I am met with unprofessionalism, and they blame me. They took till 11/28 to complete the job that’s when they were paid full. Due to the deficiencies in craftsmanship, I am sustaining more damage to my home.

      they do not contact me, I contact them. When I do try to call things to their attention that need to be fixed. I am met with a high degree of unprofessionalism. And I’m told that their deficiencies are my fault. I am still waiting for a resolution on the improperly installed door, and the additional damage caused by that. I’m also still waiting for window insulation. And I also called it to their attention that vented skirting on a mobile home is code in weld county, and as such my skirting needs to be vented and brought up to code. I was told that was my fault because they told me it didn’t need to be vented. And while that may be the case, I’m not a contractor I don’t know the rules. I didn’t have to know the rules until they did not do their job correctly. Also, there has been no attempt to make an appointment, or give me a time when they can come and complete the painting of the shed.

      That being said, they did come and put a ridge vent on the roof. And said they were going to fix other deficiencies found by inspection. I have not had the funds to have another inspector come out and reinspect yet. Especially since all of these things were already paid for in full. And now more damage has been done because of deficiencies in workmanship.

      They do not openly communicate with me at all.

      I am rejecting this response because: Majestic Roofing did send another workman out, howerever, he was instructed by them to insulate windows and put a new door knob in the door. He was not allowed according to him, to do any repairs to damages, caused by installation. Neither was he allowed to correct any installation deficiencies, such as crooked windows, crooked door, and was instructed just to caulk. We haven’t had any cold weather since yesterday, so I don’t know if those tiny Band-Aids are going to correct the problem. I do not feel like they will. And the damage to the walls and floor around the door were not addressed at all. And this damage was caused not only by the installation deficiencies, but by their lack of response for the last three months. I’ve been trying to offer them the opportunity to do what is right in this situation by correcting the deficiencies properly. It seems like I’m going to be met with opposition at every turn. I’ve had to hire two different contractors to come and make deficiency reports. And despite several attempts to let them know what the deficiencies are, and what the damages that have been done they seem to be resistant to excepting responsibility and truly remedying The problems. I have not had the money to hire a second roofing inspector since the ridge vent has been installed, however, it seems like that has helped with the condensation problems a bit. That being said, the damage to the walls,  flooring and roof decking remains. Well, I do appreciate their efforts, it’s too little too late. And while I am dealing with Majestic roofing their subcontractor ********* *********** *** is the responsible party for the door, windows installation, and the damage caused by those deficiencies. Also, the skirting not being to code. 
      quite honestly, and speaking plainly, I cannot afford to watch my home fall down around my ears while these guys mess around. I’m going to have to hire somebody else to come and fix it properly and sue them to get my money back if this is how we’re going to continue this situation. there’s also the matter of the shed that is not painted properly. I was told three months ago that he would be back to do that because I had already paid for that back in August. This job was paid in full in it’s entirety. In November. They were first notified of the deficiencies in early December.

      The resolution to this problem would be for them to send a qualified, professional, contractor out to remedy the deficiencies properly and repair all the damages that were caused by their deficiencies.
