Under no circumstances should you buy a vehicle from this dealer. They have now had our truck in their shop for a month, for the 3rd time. They have not even tried to to fix the problem. They "think" it could be a power issue but they don't try anything to test it. They sit on so they get their warranty money. On top of all of this they lie to us. If you can ever get through to them on the phone, you will get nothing but lies. They tell my husband they haven't been able to replicate but, they tell me they have been able too but are waiting on Ford engineering. We have asked them to release the warranty so we can try another dealer. They tell us they can't do that. That is a blatant lie. We have talked to other dealers and this is a very simple thing for them to do. They just don't want to lose their money.Review from Paul B

The service response time is horrible. On hold for 20 minutes then told I had to wait over 5 weeks for a service appointment when I had bought the car there and paid for extended warranty so they had me "locked in". would never buy another car here because of the service dept. Finally had to drive to the dealership to confront the service department as I never get a return call. Awful customer service.........................Review from Jeff S

We are not happy. -During the purchase our sales guy was Johnny. Ford was so unorganized and couldn’t find paperwork for it, or the keys. Every time we try to call and ask for him he never calls us back. They made a mistake on our address and we had to return to update paperwork. It was submitted to the DMV and credit union incorrectly. Never received any mail from DMV or the bank. Had to call and go online ourselves to pay first payment and pay registration. -When we picked up the 2020 4-runner after purchase it was on empty. Had to get gas and come back with a receipt for a refund. -We were told the Pedal Commander accessory it came with was top notch and an extra item which made it seem like a great deal! It failed randomly after maybe 2 months and had a malfunction with the entire vehicle, the speed reduced to 30 mph and displayed an error message. She wasn’t even able to get up to posted speed of 55mph. put her flashers on and went straight to the dealership. Their solution was to unplug it. -They made a mistake for the lease buy-out on our Volkswagen, and later came back saying we owed more money to pay the lease off. He asked them for a “personal pay off” not a “dealership payoff”, he’s the professional and should know this. We are very unhappy customers and can’t seem to get away. We have oil leaking on our driveway and garage and scared to bring it in for them to fix it because what’s going to happen next? We were hoping after our last oil change that we would be done with this place. Worst experience and we are so stressed out. We have a baby on the way and need a reliable vehicle. My wife doesn’t even want to drive it to work. And we don’t need to take anymore time off work and lose anymore money. Honestly I just want my money back and something for our pain and suffering. Take the vehicle back. It’s not worth it. We have wasted so much time. There’s so much more that we have to say but I’m too heated and going to stop and I’ve run out of room.Review from Thad C.

Engine light came on hooked up to diagnostic and showed issue with number two cylinder TROUBLE CODESP0303, P0316 (MISFIRES)” and said the “ENGINE COOLANT WAS ALSO LOW.” Took it to our regular repair shop – diagnosed moisture in number two cylinder (Have pics) the technician performed a block test and pressure test of the cooling system. Coolant was found to have been leaking into the number three-cylinder. They notified us that Ford had issued a Service Bulletin and engine would have to be replaced. TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 2.0L EcoBoost - Coolant In Cylinders, White Exhaust Smoke And/Or Illuminated MIL 19-2346 19 December 2019 This bulletin supersedes 19-2208. Reason for update: Replace Awareness/Interim Message Model: Ford 2015-2018 Edge 2017-2019 Escape 2017-2019 Fusion Issue: Some 2015-2018 Edge and 2017-2019 Fusion/MKZ/Escape/MKC vehicles equipped with a 2.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit a low coolant level, white exhaust smoke and/or a runs rough condition with or without an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) may include P0300, P0301-P0304, P0316, P0217, P1285 and/or P1299 stored in powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to coolant intrusion into the cylinder. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the long block engine assembly. Ford service department advised us it would be 6 – 8 weeks before it could be repaired. We only have one car at this time. We asked for a loaner and they said the warranty we selected when we bought the car wouldn’t cover a loaner. Later, we found out that it would but only 10 days. Looked at leasing a car but few were available and were very expensive (for 6 – 8 weeks, cost would have been $4000 plus). Warranty couldn’t even begin until engine torn a part and warranty representative looked at the engine. Even with that, they couldn’t get the car in until two weeks later. We spoke with Ford service rep and two separate service managers. No loaner. There was no way to even guarantee that a used engine wouldn’t have the same issues. So we decided to trade it in. Current balance on our Edge was approximately $20,000 with payent of $386.11. Another Ford Edge was all that was in stock at $27,500. They gave us $15,000 for ours which resulted in $5000.00 shortfall when applied to the Edge in stock for balance of $32,400 with payment of $472.87. We had little choice but to make the deal. One day later, I notice on the Loveland Ford Website inventory for sale, our car was listed on there at $23,700.00 or so. Additionally, the picture on the site clearly showed our license plate. I confronted used sales manager and asked how they could sell our car when we hadn’t even turned it in yet, and with the existing engine failure situation. I also asked him to please remove it from the web site immediately as it had our license plate in full view. He told me it would be 24 hours before he could remove it, but I told him I was going to stay at Ford until it was complete. He told me to go sit down then and tomorrow we would have it removed. I refused and told him to remove it immediately and he finally did. I told him I wouldn’t never be back again and he said that was fine. Very rude.Review from Tyler C

They saw me coming a mile away. Be careful with this dealership. If you need a ford dealership, I’d recommend going elsewhere. I showed up with a Tahoe that I wanted to trade in and wanted something with better gas mileage. I was in a tight spot with my credit but had good income to qualify. They had a ‘18 ****** WRX that was beautiful and seemed to be in great condition. They told me it checked out and all was well with it. Seemed fine on the test drive except for some squeaky breaks. They told me it was normal for performance breaks to squeak and it would “go away” over time but if it didn’t I could bring it in and they would fix it. Okay fair enough … So I traded in the Tahoe, got a $5k warranty that I didn’t need but apparently it had to be done so they could qualify me with the bank so I just went with it cause I just needed a car that day so I didn’t care what needed to be done. I was out of there driving the ****** home within an hour and was pretty happy that it worked out. 3 weeks later (after minimal driving - maybe 200 miles) the car stops shifting and won’t drive. I take it back to then (hoping my $5k warranty will cover it) and apparently the clutch is burnt out and it’s my fault for driving it so hard… are you kidding me? I’m not drag racing the car, I’m commuting to work and going to the grocery store. That’s it. And I’m not an idiot, I know how to drive a manual. So they say it’s going to cost my $3600 for all the work and NONE of its covered because the clutch is a wear item and not covered under warranty. I called my personal mechanic and he says that a clutch usually lasts 80,000 miles. I bought the ****** at 87,000. That indicates to me that the clutch was worn and in need of replacement when I bought it. My mechanic says no one can wear out a perfectly good clutch in 3 weeks unless they driving it crazy hard. So they sold me this car with a worn clutch knowing that it was just a matter of time before I would come back and need to drop $4k to fix it and they make even more money off of me. And because it’s a wear item and I signed an as is without having a third party inspection because I was in such a hurry- they took FULL advantage of me and it sucks because I have a new car and new car payment on a car that I can’t even drive. It’s been sitting at the dealership for weeks because I don’t have the money to fix it. I was expecting a RELIABLE and working car not a lemon. And they are not being helpful at all. They don’t give a **** about helping me or making my life easier. They won’t even help me out with a loaner car. I feel that they should fully absorb the cost of the repair because they sold me a car with a worn part and didn’t tell me. Loveland Ford completely screwed me and they cannot be trusted. I will be towing my ****** to my mechanic who will be fixing it for far less because the dealership overcharges for everything. And I will never go back to them and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Take your business elsewhere people! They don’t care about customer service, they care about making money- even at the expense of the customer. Shame on you Loveland Ford.Review from Jennifer

Horrible service sold me lemon!!! The problems started 10 days after I got truck. Needed new brakes and started having electrical issues. I took it back and was told it was fine. In last year and half it has broke down due to the electrical 3 times. They are not willing to take back because of electrical unless I lose 4500.00 in value for my payoff they want to take it to auction. Even though I have paid to fix all the issues myself. I was honest they sold me a vehicle with electrical issues. Now they want to screw me in the trade in!
