Date: 04-10-2021 I payed 718.25 They said they worked on Wheel Bearing and Sensor, because it was making a grinding sound when acceleration was applied, and on the screen it says: " SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, BREAK ASSIST", Tony, the owner said He knew exactly what it needed to be done, so we left the car the first time for 10 days, We went back the next day after we received the car, because everything was the same with car, He didn't fix anything. He kept the car again for 3 weeks, 3 days after that, everything was the SAME, He didn't fix anything AGAIN. May 2021 we were towed from Fort Co because the car was not running from parking. We had it towed to Tony's and we let him know the next day in the morning that the car was there AGAIN. He said He was gonna fix everything for real this time. After 2 weeks of keeping the car, the car runs again, but the breaks and the traction control STILL SAME, He didn't' fix it again, and car missing pieces. He called today asking for MORE money.Business response

Please see the attached letter and timeline of the repairs made for this customer. The customer still has an outstanding balance of $678.74 and has enjoyed the benefits of having her vehicle without paying for the repairs. The full details are in the attached document and it would be nice if the customer paid the balance of what she owes instead of attempting to get a refund for something that was fixed months ago. I am rejecting this response because: The third time i took my car with Tony's, the very next day after that, the car wasn't moving from parking AGAIN, I called Tonys to let him know and he said again "bring it to me and ill take a look" same as he always said to me after "repairing it" I decided I was DONE with them, they were obviously scamming me, then I made an appointment with jKs, took the car with him and he told me Tony's never fixed my shifter, He just did the "emergency shifter release" to make it work when I picked it up!, when I went the last time to Tony's to pick up my "fixed car" they never told me I needed to pay anything else, BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER FIXED IN THE FIRST PLACE, He is stating that I "enjoyed the benefits of having my vehicle without paying for the repairs" REPAIRS THAT WERE NEVER DONE BY TONYS, For the first time in 4 months after taking my car to jKs, I'm finally able to ENJOY a fixed car BY JKS.I have voice recordings of all the times I had to take my car to Tony's to get it fixed and re fixed and re fixed again and again, without having any result, I have the information of when we were towed couple days after the SECOND time he "fixed it" and I have the receipt and diagnosis of **s of some days ago when I FINNALLY GOT MY CAR FIXED (attached).I think is not fair this person keeps scamming people, he has the worst reviews on google and his business still open.

Ms. ******* ****** states the following in her first complaint "he called today for more money" and the following statement in her most recent complaint "when I went the last time to Tony's to pick up my "fixed car" they never told me I needed to pay anything else, BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER FIXED IN THE FIRST PLACE, He is stating that I "enjoyed the benefits of having my vehicle without paying for the repairs" REPAIRS THAT WERE NEVER DONE BY TONYS. We ABSOLUTELY NEVER call people and ask them for money. Our customers, 99.9%, pay when they pick up their vehicles therefore it is not necessary to call customers for money.
We do not carry accounts receivables at all. We do not take payments. We offer honest, fair prices people can afford and we absolutely stand behind our work. Again, we would not be responding that the customer has a balance due if we had not asked her for payment when she picked up the vehicle. If you turn to my response timeline, on 06/14/21, you will note that Ms. ****** arrived to pick up the vehicle and gave our manager a hard time with regard to her last visit here and the vehicle being here for 3 weeks. If you refer to the same timeline, you will note, on 04/10/21 the details with regard to the right rear passenger door with an explanation of why the vehicle was here for an extended timeframe. If you follow along the timeline, 05/06/21, you will note that the reason for the delayed deliveries were a direct result of the Covid-19 shut-down of our country/world. This obviously was beyond our control. All deliveries were delayed causing everyone to be inconvenienced. When Ms. ****** arrived our manager, Dave, had only been here for approximately 1 week. We had been out of town for 4 days at an event planned 2 years prior and had been canceled the prior year due to Covid and it moved forward this year. Dave was having difficulty finding the work order and he trusted the customer would return and pay as she was informing him they needed the car for work etc. He allowed the customer to take the vehicle in good faith they would pay for services they received. Again, we stand behind our work and our work is under warranty therefore Ms. ****** could have returned at any time and I would have checked into any problem she was experiencing. She stated in her own complaint that "I was done with them" and she decided to take her vehicle to another shop. takes her car to another shop does not call me. shop charges her for wiring both speed sensors and connecter for new shifter that boy friend broke trying to shift out of park. we put in brake switch still did not shift til noticed shifter bent we put in new shifter called me friday i ordered shifter picked up on a saturday installed called needed car right away and they didnt pick up till monday anyway i did not fix abs lite saturday because it was intermitente and working at the time went for ride with boyfriend he could not get lights to come on bearing fixed grinding noise
