*** and his crew installed a new furnace,replacing a very old one.All the work necessary to meet the new standards of efficiency and safety were accomplished in a very professional manner. All my questions and concerns were answered politely and thoroughly. I initially hired Qualiity West because of recommendations from other customers of QW. THe whole crew were so very easy to dialog with. I am very pleased I trusted them to do the job, and I certainly highly recommend them. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

I was very disappointed and surprised by this company, as I thought that they would be better given the reviews. I called for a furnace which was short cycling. When the technician arrived it was not short cycling, but had a very dirty blower motor. I asked the technician to clean the motor but was told that Quality West does not clean blower motors and that I would have to replace the whole HV**, because he thought that the ** coils were plugged and restricting airflow. He said that my 10 year old system was at the end of its life and HV** systems last no longer than ************************************************************************************************************ to replace a functional one that needed maintenance and cleaning with a new one. I called another company for a second opinion. The new technician cleaned the blower motor and did a diagnostic evaluation.. Most likely the blower capacitor would need to be replaced, but not the whole HV**. Very disappointed with Quality West Heating, as this techncicin was not honest! I also posted the review of google.com.

I reviewed the situation and found that the technician prepared a full diagnostic report and corresponding recommendations based on his testing and inspection of the furnace. We dont offer to dismantle and clean equipment that is in poor condition due to the liability it incurs, (parts can easily break or fail during the dismantling and cleaning process). In situations such as this (advanced wear on the system), our technicians are trained to offer replacement options when multiple repairs are on the horizon. This way the home owner is given a clear picture of all the options and can make an informed decision that is best for them. We do, however, offer a satisfaction guarantee for our service. Therefore, I cancelled the payment you made for the diagnostic. I am happy to hear you found someone to perform the cleaning service you desired. Regards, Rob
