I was contacted by Colorado Sewer Service **** ******** and was quoted $309.50 total price to clean out the main sewer line for two houses. My neighbor ************************* and I schedule our annual routine sewer clean out together. We scheduled the preventive cleaning for 7/18/23, in the 0600-0900 time window. On 7/18/23, at **** AM I called because Colorado Sewer was a no-show, and no call. The lady on the phone was apologetic, and rescheduled for 7/25/23. On 7/25/23, Colorado Sewer rep ***** arrived, and told me it would be $319.50 for EACH house. ***** made a phone call, then told me he would not perform the requested service at the quoted price. I called Colorado Sewer Service and left a voicemail to explain what happened and to see if they would honor their quoted *****. A week later I was contacted by *****, and she explained ***** had made a mistake, and Colorado Sewer will not honor the quote of $309.50, to perform a routine cleanout of the two homes. The total price paid last year on 7/11/22 was $339.00, the price originally quoted this year was $309.50, which was a bait and switch, when the tech arrived on morning of 7/25/23 he told me the total price would be $639.00 and he drove away.

I spoke with ********************* and did explain to him that ***** was mistaken on the price that he quoted for the two houses, and clarified that the price that was quoted would be for one house only. The reason I wouldnt honor this price is because this had been previously explained to ***************** year when we came out to perform the preventive maintenance on his home as well as his neighbors home.

Please see the two invoice copies attached that were signed by ****. When ******* had arrived on July 11th of 2022 to perform the work he quoted our prices to ****, and he complained and stated that is not what he had paid the previous year and proceeded to provide his invoices to *******. As a good faith gesture we honored the price last year and went ahead and paid ************** on the full invoice , while Colorado Sewer did not make anything on this job. We explained to ***************** year moving forward this is what the price would be and this was signed by **** for not only his home but his neighbors home as well.

As we will always strive for complete 100% satisfaction from our customers, this unfortunately is not always possible. Please dont hesitate to reach back out with any further questions or concerns.

I am rejecting this response because when Colorado Sewer called me, I repeat, they called me, ***** offered offered to do both homes for $309.50 total. I understand that Colorado Sewer made a mistake, the mistake is they did not honor the price they quoted. We called Plumbline, and they did a preventive main sewer line cleanout for $93.00 each, further evidence that Colorado Sewer is gouging their customers.

      Sincerely,
