I stayed at this hotel from Oct 17-Oct 23, while I was in town as a nighttime caregiver for an elderly woman who had suffered a stroke. The family reserved the hotel for, and therefore the bill was changed to their account, and I didn't have agency the move locations.The second day of my stay I was moved to a different room because a loud family had been placed next door. The receptionist moved me to higher floor ensuring that I would not have the same issue. the next day however, a neighbor with a small barking dog moved in instead. I decided not to move again and to deal with the noise. the following day, I was woken by a man kocking on doors on my floor and asked my neighbor if she had requested a blanket, as her dog continued to bark. She said no and I heard him knock on what I thought couldn't be my door, as I had a "privacy please" sign posted. The man then took the liberty of opening my door when I did not answer, and when I said "hello" he asked if I had ordered a blanket. I replied firmly, "There is a privacy please sign on my door and no I did not request a blanket. At this point I was incredibly over tired and offended. My privacy and safety had been clearly violated and I brought it to the attention of the front desk who told me the manager would be in at 3pm. The reason I am bringing it to the BBB is because after over two weeks and being ignored, passed off to a GM who never replied, I contacted *************** who created a case number for me. The manager whom I had originally spoke to face to face at the hotel before my departure then emailed me as if he was unaware of my situation and over the phone attempted to bully me into a resolution. He credited the account of the person who booked my stay (a person I am not in contact with) and offered points. Unfortunately this does not benefit me in any way, they never followed up on the man who came into my room, and have not handled this situation in a respectful way.
