***** from Liftech came out to look at some cracks in my basement. He was very thorough. He checked the entire house, inside and out. I had two other estimates and ***** was the most honest. He told me what I would need and gave me the name of an engineer to contact. If I need work done , I will definitely go with Liftech.

****, we are sorry to hear about your experience with Liftech, as we take pride in great customer service as shown in our hundreds of other 5-star reviews across the web. We are also disappointed that even though you told us many times you had a great experience with our lifting services, you only chose to leave a review about your "negative" experience with your new driveway. We are very aware of this situation, have met with every rep involved, and feel confident that the solutions offered you were beyond what is in our contract or "standard". We had multiple Liftech reps meet you on-site, on more than one occasion, and here is our version of events:- After 9 months of completing the work on your driveway you notified us that a small hairline crack appeared at the base of your driveway (which unfortunately happens quite often with the shifting soils we have here in ********). Hairline cracks are considered normal in the industry and no concrete contractors including Liftech can guarantee or warranty their work against such hairline cracks (as clearly spelled out in your contract). Nonetheless, our representative met you on-site and offered to seal the crack. You declined, and the next day left us a 1-star ****** review saying we "screwed you over" which was not the case.- At this point, our Concrete Manager got involved and scheduled a time to meet you again to review the work and see what could be done. He suggested the original rep was correct, and sealing the crack was the best repair for this type of situation. As we told you, replacing just one section of concrete would leave you with a slab that was off-color from the rest (making things worse), and the sealed crack would be far less noticeable. - At this point you started to attack our Manager's character, his cognitive abilities, and overall became very hostile toward him, not allowing him to get a word in. Trying to de-escalate the situation he offered to replace the slab of concrete in question, against our recommendation and what our contract states, in an attempt to satisfy you. You continued to berate him and increase the hostility. We apologize that he made an inappropriate comment, recommending that you "seek counseling" to deal with this issue. Everyone has a breaking point and we apologize he simply lost his cool with you. This situation was handled internally with our ownership.Ultimately after meeting internally Liftech decided to rescind our offer to replace the slab, as that was going above and beyond our stated terms, and we feared continued hostility if we worked at your property again. I used LifTech to lift my patio, because they did work for the *** Association for the community in which I live. The *** was very happy with their work, and I am, too. Each person involved arrived timely, was pleasant and knowledgeable. Communications are very easy, whether in person or electronically. LifTech provided all of the documentation I needed to obtain *** approval of the work. Kody and ***** completed the work today, June 23, 2022, and they did a great job. They arrived on time, were very pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful of my property, taking extra steps to ensure no damage to the landscaping. I highly recommend.
