      I did not choose to go with this company for their service, but I did have the opportunity to speak to both an office employee and the owner. I called for a quote after speaking with four other window cleaning businesses. Signature does their pricing based on the TOTAL house square footage, not just the part being serviced. I explained that I have a ranch house with a basement and only wanted the main floor serviced. The employee typed in my address and asked if 3300 sq ft sounded right. Any listing online for my recently purchased house shows 2300 sq ft and I said that was incorrect. I also explained that in the state of CO they count the basement in total sq ft for real estate listings, but if you lived in MI where I'm originally from you are not allowed to count those so it will always show half. With the employee confused she put the owner (woman) on the phone who I then explained it to. She explained to me her "formula" for doing it this way and I said I just didn't agree with it. I told her having called for other businesses they all charge by the pane so I was surprised she was charging me for sq ft I wasn't getting services. Furthermore, I told her I own a mid century modern house so of the total nine windows I have, four of them were half-size windows. She said it sounded like I was disgruntled and that I should go elsewhere and I said I'm not, it just sounds like you're overcharging me based on what you think I have when she then informed me she hadn't even quoted me yet. I told her I didn't think this would work and I'll just go with one of the others I called. She then said, "I think you should and perhaps you should open your own business too, because you seem to think to know mine. I'll stick with what I know and you stick with what you know." I paused in disbelief and said, "That was pretty rude." She then said, "Have a good day!" and promptly hung up on me. I cannot attest to their pricing, their service or their "formula," but I do know that customer service, impressions and referrals are the first line to your business and there was no reason to get upset with me for asking questions about your pricing methods since they were different from others in the industry.

      First off as stated in this review we have NEVER done work for this person. Yes this customer did call our business. She started off with an attitude the second my office assistant asked for her address. It was my office assistants very first call and she was extremely rude to her. Public records stated that her house was 3300 sqft with the basement included. When My assistant asked her if this was correct she decided to tell educate my assistant on why it is not ok for her to include the basement square footage and why that did not make any kind of sense after a few minutes of my assistant trying to explain that she is just following our protocol, I took over the phone call. My assistant was nervous as it was and this lady was extremely condescending. I spoke to her and try to explain why our pricing included the entire square footage of the home. After being interrupted and laughed at in a very condescending way multiple times I explained that this was our process and that we do things differently. She laughed at me and proceeded to tell me that we didnt know what we were doing and that we were not in line with our market because we did not go off the number of her windows. When I told her that she couldnt even know if we were in alignment with the market because she had yet to even get a quote she stated that she would just use another one of the four companies she had already called. I told her that she should do that. I tried to explain to her that not every company is for every client but once again she interrupted me to explain how my business should be run and to let me know that the way I was doing things was not correct. I simply said well it sounds like you should start your own business. You can runs yours they way you would like and I will run run mine the way I like. She paused huffed and at the same time I was telling her to have a great day she said well that was rude. I said bye. It has nothing to do with not having customer service. There is a difference. I value my customers, I go above and beyond for my customers and I am level headed. However, when it comes to disrespecting my staff and myself no I do not lay down and allow anyone to be rude, condescending or disrespectful I am a human being and I deserve to be treated as such. More importantly my staff is amazing and they try so hard to be so kind, loving, sweet and respectful to everyone they speak to. I value them very much and I will 110% of the time go to bat for them when they are being mistreated.
