Subject: Oxotic (Golden, CO) – Failure to Provide Services / Closed Business
Details:
I purchased two driving experience vouchers from Oxotic in Golden, CO in Oct 2024, totaling $1,512.11. Each voucher was advertised as valid for one year.
When I recently attempted to schedule the experience, I found that Oxotic had suddenly and permanently closed. The business is no longer responding to phone calls or emails, and online reviews confirm that many other customers are in the same position.
This appears to be a case of the business taking payment and then ceasing operations without fulfilling services or offering refunds. I am seeking assistance in recovering my payment and ensuring accountability for this business practice.

Item: Purchased an Oxotic Supercar Driving Experience in Denver online through their website. It is a package that you pay in advance and then select the actual date from any time from purchase out to 2029. The package was their 105 mile Tour with Passenger. Picked up the physical Gift Card and Tour information in person at their location in Golden that same week of purchase. See Attachments. The experience could be booked for anytime through 2029.
Issue: Called business approx March/April 2025 to inquire about tours and was told that Fall tours, after the summer crowds are best, so being local, we planned on contacting them again in Aug/Sep of 2025. The business has disappeared. The phone number is disconnected. The physical location is permanently closed and the website is gone. We have no way of contacting them. The only other business with the same name is in Fresno and was able to contact them. They have no affiliation with this Denver business and cannot honor our Tour purchase.
Resolution: I have submitted dispute with our credit card company to hopefully get reimbursed or see if they can help get money back from the company. If the company does still exist and can possibly provide the package purchased that could be agreeable, but very concerning that they just disappeared on us with no contact.
Beware of this company should they resurface again - would not pay in advance for anything!Initial Complaint

I purchased an exotic car driving experience with the company in November 2022 with the address/contact information understanding their policy allowed for up to 5 years to schedule the event. We had used this company before. We went to book the trip today and realized the company shut their doors in April of this year leaving no way to reach out for a refund. I called the Oxotic Fresno location that I found online and they told me they have no contact information, but they are getting a lot of calls about the Golden Colorado location (another franchise apparently) as the close was abrupt and caught many off guard.

Purchased a 35, 1.5 hour tour with this company in March 2025. I received a confirmation and was charged $682.64. I never heard from the company again. It was booked for 6/19/2025 and I went to look into it and saw the business was closed. I never got notified in advance that I would not be receiving the services I was charged for. I’ve tried the phone number, it’s disconnected as well as the contact email. The owners of this business are **** ******** and ***** ***** from Denver/Golden CO. They have gone radio silent and MANY other reviews are saying the same thing. On 12/1/24 I paid $477.93 for a voucher for a 3 hour driving experience. On 3/13/25, arranged to use the voucher for 6/27/25. Recently learned that the company has apparently closed up shop without notice or providing a refund. The website, email and phone have been turned off. They have removed most of their information across social media as well. Owner was **** ******** - profile available on LinkedIn. I'd like my money returned. I purchased a car driving experience for my son's birthday on 4/27/25 for June 14th. On 5/26/25 I received an email that stated the reservation was cancelled - with no explanation and/or promise of a refund. I left a voicemail for them and checked the website and seeing that June 14th was still available, I rebooked that same day. I decided to watch for cancellatin email and on Wednesday, June 4th, after not receiving any emails, I went to the website to see if there was still open bookings for that day and the website said it was "expired". I immediately called the phone number and the recording said they are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays - so I called again today, Thursday, June 5th and the phone is now disconnected.Initial Complaint

Purchased a gift card for Christmas present to dad. He scheduled his driving experience and a few days before his scheduled date of April 28, he received an email they were cancelling and moving to another location. Please see attached 19 page PDF that includes a complete Complaint Narrative. On 10/29/20, I prepaid for two BOGOs for the 2021 Season, which entitled me to four Tour Package Gift Vouchers (NOT GIFT CARDS). Each of the Vouchers (FH numbers ), included "65 Mile Multi Car-Multi Canyon + Passenger+ Elite Car + Free Photos/Video + Fuel/Maint Fee". Each BOGO cost $839. Total paid $1,758. On 10/30/20, Oxotic issued an email receipt with the four "FH" Voucher numbers listed with an abbreviated description of "4 65 Mile Tour- Weekend +1 Passenger-EliteCar". On 11/14/20, Oxotic issued an email to me announcing that "We are excited to announce our extended expiration on all prepaid season vouchers for the 2020 & 2021 Season! If you have already purchased a 2020 Season Voucher or a 2021 Season Voucher, we have automatically extended your voucher for FIVE (5) years from the date of purchase. There is nothing you need to do!... All Monetary Gift Cards carry a 5 year redemption as well." As I have previously stated, I purchased and received four Vouchers, not Gift cards. Oxotic’s 11/14/20, email identifies that Vouchers and Gift Cards are different products. In January 2025, I called Oxotic and spoke with *******. *******, was adamant that the four tours that I pre-paid would no longer fully pay for the product listed on the 10/29/20 receipt. ******* stated that the 2025 price was about $999 per car and my Vouchers were only worth $1,758 towards the approximate $3,996 price in 2025. Dispute $2238 diff. Based on Oxotic’s 2020 website and the 2020 purchase process, along with subsequent emails sent to me, I respectfully disagree. My interpretation is that I Pre Paid for the four Tours and I could exercise my right anytime on or before 10/29/25 to exchange a Voucher for even-steven for the product on the 10/29/20 receipt. I then asked ******* to connect me to ****’s cell, his voicemail came on and I left the first of Four voice messages (Jan-Apr 2025) asking that **** call my cell.Initial Complaint

This business is gone. Closed. They still have a website and are still taking money and new bookings. When I tried to book 3 vouchers that I purchased in October of 2023 ($1500 worth) the receptionist told me that I needed to speak to **** the owner. I called him in March and left a message and I emailed him and never heard back. I called the main phone number again and told the receptionist that I was trying to get ahold of him and she informed me that nobody had been able to reach him in months - including her. There must be dozens if not hundreds of vouchers out there unused and they are still accepting new bookings and purchases of vouchers. I purchased a car driving package that included trip protection. I was told the trip could not proceed because there were not enough drivers. I asked to cancel the trip, consistent with my trip protection. I was within the appropriate time frame. I have followed up via chat, phone, and email with Oxotic. Their customer service has told me that the owner, ****, has to give refunds. I have emailed him with no response.
