Bought a truck, noticed the truck had issues 30 days after, called the place they said it isnt our issue, we spent 12,000$ and contacted them regarding the lemon law. The owner hung up and never called back, now 10 months later the truck exploded (literally) on the side of the road and owner has not contacted us. We are stuck in a loan for a truck that almost Killed us twice.

      To whom it may concern,

We do not know who this customer is and what they are talking about. We looked back to when we started doing business and we never came across a customer with that name. They must have us mistaken with another dealership.

      Please close the complaint.

      Regards,

      Management Team

I purchased a used vehicle and the odometer was not reported to be broken, however after procurement of the vehicle I noticed the odometer wasnt working and the miles advertised were false/misrepresentative. I noticed 24hrs after purchase and want to repeal the purchase. The business will not accept responsibility for the misrepresented mileage and will not take the vehicle back.

      Hello,

This customer called back and said he noticed the odometer was not working. This was not a deceiving practice. It was just something that we were not able to determine as the vehicle was bought as soon as it was advertised without any test drives. We went ahead and fixed the odometer for the customer. We also did some extra work for the vehicle to pass emissions. The customer stated he withdrew complaint as well.

      Regards,

      Icar Automotive

      Hello,

We sent the title to the county via this tracking 1Z7780A10192758169 via *** on 4/6/2022. Unfortunately, that paperwork was lost by the ***. We were not aware of the issue until the customer reached out to us 05/17/2022. Since then, we have been battling to get a new duplicate title. It has been a nightmare, but we are still working on it. The last update we received was on 1/23/2023 that it will take ***** business days for mailing from the *** in **********. According to their estimate it should be arriving any day now. We will be following up with them on 2/21/2023 to make sure it has already went out.

      Thanks,

      Hello,

We initially sent the paperwork to Larimer County via *** tracking number 1Z7780A10193531955 on 4/6/2022. Unfortunately, we found out at a late time that the paperwork was lost in transit. We requested a duplicate from california dmv which took a little longer than expected. But once received that new set of paperwork was sent to to Larimer County 1Z7780A10294267363 on 9/21/2022. The dealership has done everything to resolve the issue, and is currently in touch with the customer to help him reach a resolution.

I bought a vehicle, 2009 ****** WRX, on Dec 17, 2021, and paid in FULL with a cashier's check, but wasn't given the title to the car - according to dealer "in case something goes wrong with the money part" I PAID CASHIERS CHECK, IN FULL!!!! I was told I would get the title sent in 2 weeks. I texted the saleswoman, Aming *********, on Jan 20, OVER A MONTH after purchase, and the title still had not been sent. The response I received "will send it tomorrow. Today, Jan 24, I STILL do not have the title. I believe this business is deliberately withholding my title as my son posted a bad review about their business and business practices.

      Hello,

First of all, this customer did not buy a car from **********************. She bought a vehicle from our sister company. Our sister did not hold the title of this customer, they informed the customer title will be sent out to her within 30 days of the time of sale. They also have a tracking number of when this paperwork was sent out. 1Z7780A10392285363, it was already delivered to her.

      Thanks,

Dealership ICARAutomotive.com - location: ********************************. Purchased a defective vehicle from above mentioned om May 11, 2021 requirements for the vehicle to run, replace rack and pinion, complete brake job with new rotors and drums, shocks and struts, head cover gasket and oil pan gasket, new tires, oil change, lug nuts, frame repair as the entire bottom chassis is rusted out. Upon speaking with the dealership I was advised that the purchase was "as is" and I was forced to contact the ******** ********** of ******* to report them. The vehicle is unsafe, undrivable and will cost upwards of $6,000 to even get on the road. There are multiple reviews with the same story found online and I am reaching out to the BBB for help and guidance at this point. Thank you for your kindness and help in this matter.

      Hello,

The customer came in and test drove the vehicle, got a loan through her own credit union and purchased the vehicle on May 11, 2021. This vehicle was sold as is, and a complementary 90 days **** miles warranty was given to the customer at no additional cost to her.

The customer reached and said that the vehicle needs **** in repairs on stuff that are considered to be regular maintenance and does not affect the mechanical performance of the vehicle. We advised her that the quote was too expensive, and that we can refer her to a repair facility that will assist tremendously in cutting that cost down.

***** refused the offer, and insisted on returning the vehicle for a full refund. That was not accepted by us as the vehicle sale was final and it was as-is with no return policy in effect. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept her request for a refund.

      Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: the routine maintenance required on the vehicle affected all systems on the vehicle, making it unsafe to operate until the work was done. The estimate from a trusted mechanic was for $3000-$5000, not $9000 in necessary repairs that included a complete brake repair to fix rusted and sticking parts, replacing the rack and pinion for the steering mechanism, and engine and oil pan seals that are leaking, among other things. This vehicle was sold as road worthy but clearly it is not. The dealership offered to give me the name of their discount mechanic but never did, and their warranty would not cover the repairs they deemed maintenance. I would like iCars to refund my money and take back their worthless car. With the rust damage to the frame and all the required repairs, this car should have been sold as salvage.

      Sincerely,
