    DO NOT USE!!!!!!! I called ******* to clear a basic drain clog. They were unable to clear the clog, didn't send a person to follow up the next day as promised, and the result was a sewer backup that caused $40,000 of damage to my house. Drain Terrier was able to clear the clog no issue and came out on a Sunday to fix the issue (which ******* was unwilling to do after they had caused all the damage in the first place). Not only that but they wouldn't pay a dime to me to make it right, not taking responsibility for any part of it at all. I would avoid at all costs. ***, the only reason they have so many reviews is because they literally HOUND people after service to provide reviews.

    Hello ***, thank you for your feedback and we are sorry this was your experience. We listened back to all the recordings and originally you did call us about your kitchen sink backing up and that your garbage disposal was leaking. You are blaming us for the backup but that is why you called us in the first place thus, we cannot take the blame for the backup caused by your drainage issues. In the duration of calls you informed our technician that you have had issues with your plumbing backing up and that you have had other ***airs prior to ******* diagnosing the issue. You told us that your floor drain in your basement was plugged because of sewer backup issues in the past that had not been resolved due to not finding a cause.


    After our diagnosis, our technician informed you that your mainline was the cause of your sink backing up and located three different spots where the roots were causing blockage. He provided both video and photographic evidence. He told you that he could not stop the sink from backing up because of that blockage and it would require the mainline to be ***aired.Our tech also informed you that he could not run the snake again until the ***aired pipe had time to set. He did put a nontoxic drain cleaner down the drain but informed you that there was a good chance it would still be backing up due to the roots in the mainline.


    Regarding the pipe that was broken during the retrieval of the snake, our technician gave you the option of ***airing it or ***lacing the pipe completely. You chose to have him ***air it until you could be home to assess the issues. Our technician ***aired the pipe and used glue (which is standard practice for ABS piping which also gets very brittle over time) to attach the fittings. We have pictures of the ***aired pipe.


    On Saturday when you called to follow up because your sink was still backing up, our customer service *** informed you that to solve the issue you would need to have your mainline ***aired which you acknowledged and said you were still deciding what you wanted to do. You even asked if our technicians could give you a quote. Knowing that your mainline was the issue, you continued to use your plumbing throughout the weekend. You stated in your review that we refused to come back, which is false because one of our plumbers came out Saturday evening and he took pictures of the ***aired pipe as well. He could not do anything about the sink backup until Monday.


    On Sunday, you called us to inform us that you called another company to come out and that they had cleared your mainline which they would have already known was the issue thanks to our diagnosis. You also told us that you still wanted ******* to resolve your issue with the ***aired pipe which our tech ***aired to code. Additionally, you have yet to pay for any services.     Update: Thanks for the feedback ***, it's the first I've heard from you personally throughout this ordeal (the last month and a half), so I appreciate the response. Feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss, your team has had my contact information since early July, and I'm happy to discuss it with you. It's not surprising that the facts (as you lay them out) are disputed, but what I think your customers really need to know is that a plumber came out and cleared the drain no problem after your plumber couldn't, and that a pipe specialist came out to take a look at the pipe (said it didn't require replacement) and independently told me without me asking that your plumber dragging roots back through the line when he incorrectly cleared it most likely caused the backup into my kitchen. While that is frustrating to me, the follow up customer service is what is most problematic (i.e. I haven't talked to you once since a $40K kitchen loss). Again, I am happy to talk if you'd like to call me instead of putting all of the facts on this thread. Thanks, ***

    Mac Vic was the only company that came out when I had furnace issues in 2022/early 2023. We received a quote for a new furnace and humidifier. The installers replaced the furnace and humidifier but didn't replace the furnace filter box. Over time old furnace filter box ripped up the filters. The tech that came out took pictures and ******* replaced that filter box that was supposed to be done in the beginning during installation of the new furnace. Some time between having the new furnace checked to make sure all was a go for the 2023/2024 winter season and the furnace filter box being replaced the water to the humidifier was turned off. I noticed the humidity in the house was at 22% before filter box replacement and after the filter box replacement it was down to 12%. When the installer came to check it out he said it wasn't him. My husband was frustrated with all the issues we have had with *******. He expressed his frustration. The installer said he'd have someone call us. Today I had an appointment with a tech to come replace the humidifier filter. The service manager called stating they will no longer service us as customers, as I was waiting for the service tech. He stated he was told by the installer that my husband berated him. I explained what happened the day the installer came and how it went with my husband and that my husband nor I turned off the water to the humidifier. He said its a matter of he said she said. We have a warranty with Mac Vic and their membership that we had to pay for. Apparently they will only come for warranty issues. Part of their warranty is that they do maintenance that the service manager said they will no longer do. I am extremely disappointed in this company for not standing by their membership or name, as well as not standing by the warranty. If you dont service and that's part of the warranty, you cant honor the warranty.

    We completed all of the warranty work that was needed. As company we will never subject our technicians to verbal abuse by any customer and when you talked to our service manager you admitted that your husband was very rude to ************** and took it too far. That said we will no longer be offering our services to you.
