Hello On June 25 2020 I contracted with Gooding Performance for a rebuilt motor , a 6 speed automatic transmission and instillation of both into my 1955 Chevy Truck. The Job was to be completed in November. To date I have no motor or transmission and no promise of a completion date. No work has been completed. Gooding performance is refusing to refund My payments. The first payment of $3096.00 was made June 25, 2020. I am asking for them to refund all monies paid or complete the job within 30 days. Randy,
This email is to confirm what was said in our conversation today. I am willing to give you 60 day from today ,Sept 13,2021 to complete the project as we have agreed on. If at the end of the 60 day it is not complete you will refund all monies, I have paid you for this project.
I will forward this email to the BBB as well. It is my hope that our business together is concluded calmly and professionally.

FIRST OF ALL I SOLD HIM A ENGINE AND TRANS OUT OF A WRECKED VAN. HE PAID ME FOR THAT. AT THE TIME HE TOLD ME WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH THEM AND I TOLD HIM THAT WE COLD NOT TOUCH IT TILL WINTER. HE WAS FIN WITH THAT. THEN HE DICED TO REBUILD THE ENGINE, SO WE DISASSEMBLED THE ENGINE AND TOOK IT TO THE MACHINE SHOP. THEY ARE SUPER BUSY AND PARTS ARE HARD TO GET [[TIME WISE]. SO THEN E DECIDE'S TO HAVE US PUT THE ENGINE AND TRANS IN THE TRUCK, I TOLD MAYBE BUT NOT FOR AWHILE, WELL HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND AWHILE!!! NOW HE IS MAD BECAUSE IT IS NOT DONE. I TOLD HIM THAT I WOLD GET TO IT AS FAST AS I CAN BUT HE WAS LIKE 4TH IN LINE. HE DIDNT LIKE THAT AND THINKS I SHOULD PUT HIM FIRST. WELL I TOLD HIM I WOULD NOT HERRY IT , I ALWAYS TAKE MY TIME TO DO A GREAT JOB. SO WE AGREED O 60 DAYS AND THAT IS THAT. I ALSO TOLD HIM HE WOULD HAVE TO TAKE IT SOME WHERE ELSE TO PUT IN TRUCK. HE WASNT HAPPY BUT AT THIS POINT I CANT DO ANY MORE FOR HIM!!!
