I am rejecting this response because: For starters, you are failing to address the fact that one of your salesmen, **** lied to us multiple times during our visit. We asked if the car was stock, he said yes, even though it was evidently not. My dad noticed the rotors were worn, *** told him they weren'*. *** told us the battery died because he left the radio on, which after owning this car I know wasn't possible. He assured us we'd have bumper-to-bumper warranty, which was also a lie. We have asked to speak to someone higher up multiple times, and we were refused. After the car broke down, we contacted the dealership and they said they wouldn't help us. I find it interesting that you are offering to help us now considering the fact that when we asked for a manager or the **, *** refused us. We called around 11am, and they told us the managers were in meetings. We called again around 2, and the managers were still in meetings. We were also told over the phone that we couldn't speak to anyone higher up because only salesmen dealt with the type of problems we were having. I have attached some reviews that had similar issues as me- these are just a few of many. You have only offered help if people signed contracts to not leave a review. You have responded to reviews offering your services and telling people to reach out, and they have gone back to edit their reviews saying you have not gotten back to them after offering help. You tried to give me $200 to cover the repair, but how can anybody be sure that is what it will cost? I have already replaced the feul pump and the feul line, which has cost over $200. On top of that, there are still codes coming up on our scanner, so I will continue to have to fix and look into things, which could cost more. I am more than happy to provide proof that I have spent over $200 on this fix so far. Additionally, I plan on having the car inspected because I cannot trust that there are no other problems with the car after the way I was lied to by your salesman. We have done our part in reaching out to you guys and asking if you can help us. Furthermore, we should not have to have to chase Booth Motors around in order to solve a problem, that is unprofessional on your part. If you are serious about helping us out and not just trying to save face, you can contact my father. I do not feel comfortable speaking with you guys directly, as I don't want to be taken advantage of because I am a woman. I have already been lied to and rejected when I had concerns multiple times by your salesmen, and by the looks of your yelp reviews, this is a common theme.

***** *********rchase on June 4, 2025, my car broke down. We'd come to find out that the fuel pump was broken and that the battery was dead. This was all due to aftermarket parts that was put on by the previous owner, which the dealership told us the car had no aftermarket parts. We called the warranty company and were surprised to find out that we did not in fact have bumper-to-bumper warranty, we had engine and drivetrain warranty. We called Booth motors and they refused to fix the problem, refused to let us speak to anybody higher up than the salesman who sold us the car, and offered us $200 of inconvinience money.

    *****,

I'm sorry to hear about you having problems with your car.  I of course want you happy with your purchase so we did try to resolve this by giving you enough money in order to have the car repaired for the failed part.  The paperwork can be a lot to understand or get confusing in the moment so give me a call I can go through everything in order to clarify the details.  Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    *****,

Like I said I would be happy to help you figure out what is going on with your car.  We did offer to help you already but you refused our help.  If you would like to speak to me again you can feel free to call me anytime today until 6pm here at the store.  I hope we can do something to keep you happy.

I would like to point out the fact that Booth Motors refuses to address the way I have been lied to and treated by their salesman. Their response to every bad review is along the lines of "reach out to us so we can fix the problem", but multiple reviews have said that they have tried to reach out and nobody has gotten back to them. What is frustrating to me is that in their responses to my complaint, they want me to reach out to them. I have tried and they deny me anyone other than a salesmen to speak to.

    *****,

I will reach out today but the last time I reached out your father wasn't able to take my calls.  We are happy to help with your situation, but I need to know what it is you want.  If your car needs a fuel pump the cost is not very expensive and the $200 we offered would likely cover the cost.  Hopefully we can find a solution today.

    BBB,

I have reached out to the ******* father as requested by ***** and we tried to cover the cost of repairs or inspect the vehicle for free.  The father (****) told me to go F myself and he doesn't want my help.  The customer has had friends and family now write 1 star reviews (11) and  the dealership feels we have tried to reach a resolution and the customer is unwilling to communicate.

I understand that these issues can take some time to resolve. However, I have not received any communication regarding the situation or when to expect the necessary parts. All I ask is for updates via phone, text, or email about what is happening.

According to ****, the part that was needed was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday when I called him on Monday for an update. Yesterday, when I called for another update, I spoke with the parts guy who couldn't assist me on the status.

As a customer, I would greatly appreciate regular updates on the status of my request. If there is a delay, I completely understand; I just want to be informed about what is going on.

2/10/25 me and my family had went to Booth Motors to get a reliable vehicle for my family. We had found a 2013 Mercedes Bens E550. After only having it for less than 2 weeks the car became unsafe and undrivable. We called Booth Motors to get our car inspected and they redirected us and told us to go threw someone else because they were to busy. So after taking it to a shop we got told that $8500.00 was needed for all the repairs on the vehicle. They had also told me it wasnt anything we did to cause any issues especially since it was barely driven since getting it. So I had called Booth Motors to let them know the situation. After calling they had told me I need to pay $2000 for some of the repairs that needed to be made. Even though I got the car without any knowledge of these issues.

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your Mercedes Benz.  You were able to speak with my sales manager yesterday and he was working to reduce your bill down to only $2000.00 from the initial $8000 bill from Mercedes Benz.  I hope that works for you.

On 1/11/25 Booth Motors lied to me about my credit score which caused me to put a bigger down payment than I wanted to. At that time $4900 was collected. On 1/17 I was talking to either *** or ****** and they openly admitted over the phone that credit they told me was wrong by at least ******* points he said it didnt matter, and it wouldnt make a difference towards the loan. When I looked up my auto credit through Capital Ones Online Tool I found my score was 185 higher than stated. They told me I was approved for financing so they gave me the keys and the registration. Less than 24 hours later *********** calls me to verify information that was submitted to them by the dealer so they could finalize. After I told Capital the car was having transmission issues after I put approx. ***** miles on the car and even though I told the dealer several times, I did not want the warranty. They kept persisting. They pressured me making me feel like I wouldnt get financed if I didnt get the warranty. Capital immediately escalated the issue to dealer requesting that the vehicle get fixed and they rewrite the contract without the warranty. Dealer refused to do so. They threatened my down payment would be used to fix the car and the car wouldnt be given to me afterwards if I didnt choose to make a warranty claim. The application for the loan was falsely filled in with inaccurate information by the salesman ****. When the paperwork was presented to me by finance manager *******, it was rushed, not explained to me and I wasnt even given time to read over the paperwork. They put me in a really bad financial situation. Im stuck renting a car from Enterprise. I missed a day work and lost money. Its been ************************************************************** my money back. They consistently ignore my emails. For some reason the lien amount on the title application is $10,000 higher than the amount that was supposed to be financed. Other Documents have discrepancies, too

None of these complaints are accurate. Many of these allegations are completely fabricated. Customer called the police already and they informed the customer that they do not have a claim against us. We have offered countless solutions including fixing the vehicle at no cost to customer. Customer continues to yell and scream and will not accept any solution. We have instructed customer to come in to the dealership so this can be resolved and customer refuses to do that. We will be discontinuing communication with customer until they come in to the dealership. If we come up with a solution, they will change their mind and yell at us in the morning, so we are not going to do that anymore.

I am rejecting this response because:

I spoke with the General Manager. The only offer made was to give us cost for parts. The maintenance of all safety issues has already been completed by another service department. The General Manager still has not allowed us to see their inspection records on the vehicle nor have they offered to help with expenses occurred due to their negligence.

    Regards,

    ****** ***

iption of each item they found concerns over. The inspection came back with several safety issues resulting in a repair bill of approximately $6935.29. The following is the breakdown of the main safety issues they found: failing engine mounts ($2309.54), bad coolant pump/thermostat ($1934.34), rear brakes ($1324.53), bad battery ($584.93), plus three other lower priority repair items. As directed we contacted Booth Auto Sales. We spoke to ******, who is a manager, and we were promptly dismissed as a concern. He offered to, maybe, provide a new battery. In addition, they refused to provide initial inspection reports on the vehicle prior to sale.Inspection documents are available from ** ******* Motor

I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
The general manager has agreed to provide us with upgraded rear brake pads and rotors. Both the general manager and my husband who is a mechanic agreed that my husband would do the brake replacement. I am satisfied with this resolution as long as the provided parts are correct for the vehicle.

They constantly sell cars that need major repairs shortly after purchase and they refuse to help. Either they arent doing proper inspections or theyre intentionally not fixing things to cut costs. I purchased a *** from them 3 months ago that has needed multiple expensive repairs since. ***** ***** , At the time of the purchase my daughter had called me to let me know that she was going to proceed with the purchase, I specifically said don't buy any extended warranty if anything get gap insurance, when she got home she told me that they told her that with out getting the extended warranty she wasn't going to qualify for the credit, I said you need to cancel after I explain to her that she didn't have to get it to qualify for the loan, but they won't cancel its not about the contract its about them not loosing the commission from the warranty company we all know that, they need to do the right thing, this is not a way of doing business.

My son has purchased two vehicles from Booth motors within the last 6 months. The first car he purchased had issues immediately. His car started shaking the day after he purchased it. It was then that we realized that two of the wheels had only been held on by one lug nut each. Their response was “sorry about that“. After looking closely at the car it was obvious that the front bumper had been zip tied on. Needless to say, my son was involved in an accident, and the car was totaled out. I don’t believe the car was totaled out because of the damage from the accident. I believe it was totaled out, because to get it in safe working order, it would cost way more than the value of the car. Because Booth worked with his current lender, he needed to finance again through them. He is a young adult, with very little credit. Not bad credit, just lack of credit. He purchased his second car from booth motors at the end of July. Within a week, the car started shaking terribly. After taking it in to be looked at, he learned that two of the wheels were bent and needed to be replaced. He had to spend $1500 for a set of new wheels. Two weeks later, the car had to be towed to a dealership because it would no longer run. After paying the towing fee, the dealer had a chance to take a look at it. They let us know that the transmission had gone out. When we called booth, and let them know we haven’t even owns a vehicle a month, their response was “good thing you bought a warranty“. Even though my son has the extended warranty, it will be costing us close to $1000 to have this replaced. The warranty does not cover taxes or the fluids needed for the new transmission. On top of this, my son has been without a vehicle for the last two weeks. It it seems to be very obvious that booth motors does not care about the safety of their clients. Otherwise, they would not sell them unsafe vehicles.

***, I'm sorry that your son has not had the best luck with his cars recently. I'm not sure what your son's name is, so I can't look up his deal, but we always do our best to accommodate our customers. Is the car at our dealership or is another dealership trying to overcharge you? We don't want you to feel that we don't care, but we also don't have control over what another dealer will charge you. Please have him give our GM a call so that we can discuss a fair resolution. His name is Rod.
